20. Birthday Surprise

A week later~~

Narrator POV:
Today was Elizabeth's birthday everyone was still going with the plan they made last week. Everyone was in the great hall for breakfast and Elizabeth came in a little bit late "good morning guys" she said "good morning" they all replied. She was waiting for one of them to at least say happy birthday but no one did. She looked a little taken back but didn't say anything, she just sat down and started eating. After they were done with breakfast Elizabeth was the first to leave to go to class "I feel so bad did you all see how she looked when we didn't bring up her birthday" said Daphne "Ik I feel really bad, but it will be all worth it" said Pansy and we all nodded.

Elizabeth POV:
I think they did forget my birthday none of them wished me happy birthday at all, I didn't say anything because I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. I signed and sat down in my chair I didn't have any Slytherins in this class so it was just me and some Gryffindors, Hermione came in and sat next to me "Hey Elle" she said "hi Hermione how is your day so far" I asked "pretty good how about yours" she said "oh um its been good" I lied "Great, oh class is starting" she said I was upset once again, does anyone know it's my birthday, I signed and started paying attention.

Elizabeth POV:
After charms and Astronomy, I had a free period so I just went to my dorm. After relaxing for a bit I heard a tap on my window I went to go look and it was my parents owl it had a package I got it and feed the owl and it left. The package had a letter with it, I opened it up and it said "Happy 17th Birthday Sweetie, me and your father hope you are having a great day" I opened the package and it was a beautiful black dress it was absolutely gorgeous. I looked at the time and it was almost time for my next class so I put the dress away got my belongings and left my dormitory.

Time skip~~

Draco POV:
It was almost dinner time so I had to surprise Elle with the dinner I reserved. I went to her dorm and knocked on her door, she opened it and said "Oh Hey love, come in" i stepped inside her room and gave her a big hug and said "Darling you don't think I actually forgot your birthday did you" she backed away from the hug and her face lit up with excitement "I pretend that I forgot your birthday so I could surprise you with a dinner" I said "Love, really" she said and I nodded and said, "so get ready I'll come pick you up when dinner actually starts" I left her dorm and walked to mine,I got my parchment paper and my quill I started writting a letter to Daphne so she can tell everyone to start getting everything ready for the birthday surprise.

Elizabeth POV:
Draco just left my dorm I looked at the time and I had and hour an a half to get ready so I quickly went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. After I got out of the shower I put on a bathrobe nad dried my hair with a drying spell, I started doing my make-up. I did a natural makeup look with blue eyeshadow under my eyes, and a light pink lipgloss, After i finished with my makeup I put on my dress, the dress was a thigh length black dress it had long see through sleeves and for my shoes I put on some simple black heels. For my hair I decided to curl it a little bit and do a braid around my head and added a pretty pearl headband to it.
