28.Christmas shopping

Next Morning~~

Elizabeth POV:
I woke up to a knock on my door, I got up and went to open it "good morning Elle breakfast will be served soon so I suggest you get up" said Rosalie and I nodded.
I went inside my bathroom started doing my skin car and brushed my teeth. After I got out of the bathroom I went inside my closet and started looking for a outfit to wear I chose a simple thigh length black dress and a corset with some black tights and black boots to go with it.

I went downstairs and breakfast was served "there you go Elle" said Max "why thank you max" I said Max and Rosalie are my favorite house elf's they're both super sweet. I started eating my breakfast. When I finish I got up and decide to go out to the garden I grabbed my coat I know it was winter and the plants are mostly like cover with snow but I love the garden we have back at the manor it's so beautiful and it peaceful it's like a way to escape reality. I went outside and just stayed in the garden for a while until it was lunch time I went back inside and saw that lunch was served I sat down and ate.

I finished my lunch and I decided to hang out in the library maybe I can check my father's desk and find information about the Malfoy's and Aphrodite's see what happened between them. I went inside the library and went over to my father's desk and started looking inside all the drawers trying to find anything that has to related to my family or the Malfoy's but I found nothing absolutely nothing UGH this is frustrating.

That's when I heard my front door open I quickly put everything away grabbed my wand and quietly exited the library and walked to the front of the manor I quickly pointed my wand at the person when I realized it was my parents"oh it's only you- wait I thought you weren't coming home until tonight" I said while lowering wand "well our business trip ended early so we came home" my mom said "that was very aggressive pointing your wand at us" my dad said "okay I apologize but what if it was an intruder you never know and since you said you weren't coming home until tonight so I was just defending myself" I said.

"Anyways darling, I know it's a bit early but we should go shopping for our New Years Dress you never know when the good dresses will be sold out and we can get our Christmas shopping done as well since Christmas is in 2 days" said my mother "yeah sure let's go then" I said and she nodded. I really needed to get gifts for my friends I went upstairs grabbed a purse and left with my mother to go shopping.

Narrator POV:
Elizabeth and Aurelia arrived at the dress shop and started looking for dresses; thats when she bumped into Daphne "oh hey Daphne" said Elizabeth while she hugged one of her best friends "omg Elle what are you doing here" asked Daphne "you know just shopping for the New Years party and some Christmas shopping where are your parents" she said "it looks like they bumped into each other already" giggled Daphne as she pointed towards Elizabeth's mom and Daphne's mom.

"Let me go say hi" said Elizabeth as she walked over to them "Hello Mrs Greengrass" said Elizabeth "oh hello Elizabeth gosh have you grown" she gasped and Elizabeth smiled politely "hello Astoria" said Elizabeth trying to be nice and Astoria faked smiled and said "hello Elizabeth" "well now that we are here why don't we all help each other look for dresses" suggested Mrs Greengrass "that would be a brilliant idea" said Aurelia.
Astoria, Daphne and Elizabeth started looking for dresses.

After looking for a good amount of time they started trying on the dresses that they choose until they found a dress they liked. "Okay I really like this dress what do you guys think" said Elizabeth as she got out of the dressing room "OMG ELLE YOU LOOK GORGEOUS THIS IS THE ONE" said Daphne "oh wow Elizabeth darling you do look gorgeous in that dress" said Aurelia "I agree you look wonderful" said Mrs Greengrass. They all got their dresses and said bye to each other before they parted ways,Elizabeth and Aurelia went into different stores looking for Christmas gifts.

Elizabeth POV:
Mother and I arrived home "Father we are home" I said, I got no responde he was probably in his office so I went to see. I  knocked on the library door "come in" said my father "oh hello darling you and your mother are back" he said "yeah Mother and I got our dresses you will get to see them on New Year's and some Christmas gifts" I said and he nodded and got back to his work

"what are you doing" I asked "just business things" he said "um father is okay if I ask you something you don't have to answer if you don't want to" I ask "well what is the question" he asked "umm well what exactly happen between our family and the Malfoy's why do you hate-" I said but got interrupted "I'm going to stop you right there, Elizabeth you don't need to know any reason about this just stay away from them" "but fa-"  "ENOUGH ELIZABETH GO TO YOUR ROOM" yelled my father. I signed and went upstairs I just want to know the reason what is so wrong about that.

Narrator POV:
Elizabeth just stayed in her room until Rosalie appeared "Dinner is served Elle your mom is asking for you to go downstairs" she said "Okay I'll be right there" said Elizabeth, she went downstairs and sat down and started eating. The dinner table was in a very awkward silence until Aurelia spoke "okay what happen between you too" "well I wanted the reason why our family hates the Malfoy's why we don't get along but father cut me off not wanting to give me the reason like why can't I know" said Elizabeth angrily "Grace" gasped Aurelia "honey listen don't worry about it,okay" said Aurelia. "Whatever" Elizabeth signed and continued eating.

She finished eating got up and went upstairs without saying a word. She decided to take a shower to calm herself down she got her pjs and went inside the bathroom and started showering. When she got out she change did her skin care and brushed her teeth. She finished got in bed and grabbed her book she had in her night stand and started reading until she hear a knock on her door

"come in" she said "hey Elle" said Aurelia as she entered her room and walked towards her "hi mom" she said "is there anything you want to know or want to tell me" asked Aurelia "umm no why" said Elizabeth confusingly "we'll ever since I told you that Narcissa and I were bestfriends you want to know more about the Malfoy's"said Aurelia

"no it doesn't have to do anything with you and Narcissa I just always wanted to know the reason why we hate them so much" said Elizabeth "I would tell you but it's just your father and trust me it's a stupid reason but anyways that was all good night darling" said Aurelia as she kissed Elizabeth on the forehead "goodnight mother" said Elizabeth as her mother left her room and she got comfortable and feel asleep

A/N: sorry if this chapter was boring but trust me from here it gets more interesting anyways
