36. Train Ride

Narrator POV:
Today Elizabeth was going back to Hogwarts, the Christmas Holidays were officially over. She woke up to a knock on her door "Elle, wake up, you have to get everything ready" said her mother as she stepped into the room. "Ughh fine" said Elizabeth as she got up, she went to the restroom did her skin care and brushed her teeth, she made her way to her vanity and started brushing her hair she decide to just leave it down.

Elizabeth decided to wear a black and green plaid skirt with a black long-sleeve argyle pattern sweater, some high knee socks and some boots. She got her trunk ready and went downstairs to eat some breakfast before leaving. She had to get there by 11 because thats when the train leaves it was 10am. She quickly ate "are you ready honey" said Aurelia and Elizabeth nodded.

𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝙊𝙑:
When we got to King Cross station it was 10:30, My parents and I arrievd at platform 9 and 3/4. And there it was the Hogwarts Express I started feeling anxious and a little bit scared "well go get on the train we will see you in a few months, take care love you" said my mother I quickly gave her tight hug I didnt even bother looking at my father.

On the Train~~

As I got in the train I started looking for my friends when I meet his eyes, my breath was caught at the back of my throat. We just stood there staring at each other before he broke the eye contact. "Hey Elle" said Pansy as she approached me "you go ahead stay with him he is your guys friends too I'll go join Harry and the others" I said "are you sure" said Pansy "yeah go ahead" I said while I gave her a small smile.

I went to find the compartment that Harry was sitting at and I finally found it "hey guys may I sit" I ask "of course you can" said Hermione while she smiled at me I put my trunk away and sat down there was an awkward silence until Hermione spoke "Hey Elle how are you doing, really I know what happened on New years" I sighed "I mean Im fine I guess it will just take a while to move on I guess" I said as I gave her weak smile "im sorry Elle" she said "its not your fault you dont need to apologize" I said as I wiped a tear Hermione gave me a hug.

Harry and Ron just stood there in silent they also obviously knew about the situation. "Has he been acting strange" asked Harry and I looked at him confused "Harry! not now" said Hermione "wait what, whats going on" I said and Hermione sighed and said "Harry here is under the impression Draco Malfoy is now a death eater" I looked at Harry in shock "What Harry are you crazy Draco would never, what makes you think that" I asked

"A few days ago me, Hermione and Ron saw Draco with his mother at Borgin and Burkes they were looking at something I dont know what it was but he seemed suspicious maybe its good that you two broke up if not you would be with a death eater" said Harry. I couldn't believe what just came out of Harry's mouth "So what if I was still with him even if he was a death eater. Harry he is the love of my life. Look I get that you and Draco never got along but that doesnt mean you get to disrespect him like that, not while im around" I snapped before I got my trunk and left their compartment I looked for any other seats but I couldnt find any.

Draco POV:
I got on the train talking to the others when I saw her enter the train my breath got caught in my throat we kept our eye contact before I looked away and Pansy went over to talk to her. After they were done talking she left I looked at Pansy confused and she said "she's s gonna sit with the Gryffindor's, she said we should stay here with you" and I just nodded and we all sat down.We were in an awkward silence until Blaise spoke "so how have you been doing, you seem pretty quiet"

I just sneered "Lets just say I dont think I'll see me wasting my time in Charms this year." and Blaise chuckled "Amused Blaise?" I said "we'll see who is laughing in the end" I said while I rolled my eyes. Before I cleard my throat and asked "how is she doing" everyone just looked at each other "she is doing okay you know obviously hurt we went to see her yesterday she asked about you if we have heard anything" said Daphne I just looked down and smiled to myself.

"Draco we are very sorry for the both of you" said Pansy "Its not your fault" I told her as I sighed and spoke again "I miss her, a lot actually, she's the only thing that made me feel happy for once in my life and now that she's gone I'm back where I fucking started. Alone. in this pathetic world" I snapped they all just stayed there silent before the door to our compartment opened we all looked up and there she was standing there "Elle what are you doing here I thought you were going to sit with Harry and the others" said Pansy confused

"I was sitting with them until Harry fucking Potter started being a total arse-whole" she said as she huffed "do you mind if I sit everywhere else is full" she asked we all quickly scootched over and she sat down. Well this is awkward I thought. "what exactly did Harry do again" asked Theo she looked at me for a split second then looked away "I dont want to talk about it" she said and Theo nodded. We all kept talking me and Elle would make eye contact once in a while, I noticed she still wears the ring I got her same with the necklace.

All of a sounden I noticed something moved above my head and it looked like Elle noticed it too she looked at me and then looked away. We still had quite a few hours to go Elizabeth eventually fell asleep on Pansy shoulder I looked at her and smiled to myself "want to switch Malfoy" asked Pansy teasingly I just rolled my eyes and sarcastically laughed.

"Im being serious she a little heavy" said Pansy "no she is not you are just weak Pans" I said "pleaseee switch with me" she begged I rolled my eyes and got up "careful dont wake her" I said Pansy got up and I sat next to her, Her head immediately fell back to my shoulder. Damn her presence was warm, my body immediately relaxed I know it's only been a few days but I forgot how her body felt against mine.

Narrator POV:
After a few more hours they finally arrived to Hogwarts. Draco carefully moved Elizabeth's head off his shoulder and placed it against the window and he slowly got up. Pansy made her way to her and started to wake her up "Elle wake up we are here, Elle. ELIZABETH" yelled Pansy as Elizabeth quickly woke up "Pansy I swear to Salazar Slytherin what the Heck!" exclaimed Elizabeth "you weren't waking up we are here let's go" said Pansy as she helped Elizabeth up. "Come on Draco" said Blaise "you go ahead I'll catch up" said Draco and he nodded as the rest exited out the compartment.

Draco got up and got his trunk toke his wand he closed all the blinds so no one in the corridor beyond could peer in. He walked over to the compartment door and said "Didn't Mummy ever tell you it was rude to eavesdrop, Potter?" Said Draco  "Petrificus Totalus!" He yelled as he shot a the spell to Harry.
Harry falls, still hidden under his invisibility cloak. Draco walked over to him and removed the cloak while saying "Oh, right. She was dead before you could wipe the drool off your chin." Draco kicks Harry in the face, breaking his nose "That's for my father." He says and covers Harry with the cloak "Enjoy your trip back to London." He said as he exited out the compartment.
