As the Doctor started to fiddle with the switches and levers, I sat off in a corner, facing the wall, my mind running with thoughts of what I had just done. I had just left everything behind to some man I hardly knew to protect me from some unknown danger! What was I thinking? What was going to happen to my family? My friends? What would everyone think?

A single tear slid down my cheek as I thought these questions. I don't usually cry about things, it's just who I am. But this...this was different.

"Are you alright?" A British voice whispered in my ear. I jumped up and quickly wiped away the tear, trying to hide that I was...crying. I felt him stand up from behind me, and stand there as I started to talk.

"Yeah!" I replied cheerfully. I finally got my face dry enough and turned to face him, a fake, elastic smile stretched on my face. "I'm totally fine! Nothing wrong! Why are you asking?"

He observed me carefully. "Because you were facing a corner with a sad look on your face and a tear slid down your cheek. Why are you sad?"

"No, I'm not sad!" I protested. He gave me a look, and I sighed, giving in. "It's just hard to handle everything. I...I don't know if I should be doing this... I think I'd rather be at home with my family than here..." I mumbled.

He sighed. "You don't understand the danger of all this, do you?" I shot my head up towards him, my eyebrows frowning deeply together. What did he mean?

He sighed again, rubbing his forehead. "Guess I'll have to show you."

What was he talking about? Show me what?

All of the sudden, he grabbed my head with his two hands and with so much pressure it hurt, and as hard as he could, he smashed our foreheads against each other. I screamed as I staggered backwards, my head throbbing in pain. He yelled out as he also staggered backwards, clutching his forehead.

Thoughts and memories flashed in my brain, showing hundreds of that same Cyberman I had seen earlier. I gasped as I felt the wave of thoughts and the horrors of these robot men in my brain.

I saw a young looking man with blonde hair, his name was Craig, about to be put in a suit of a Cyberman, but seconds later burst out of it, yelling out a name. "Alphie!" he screamed as he shook off the metal robotic arm that I was guessing was being attached to him. A baby was crying in the background. Why was he there? What was going on??

The throbbing of my head brought me back to real life, and I fell on the ground, my hands holding the side of my head, trying to soothe the horrible pain. I groaned, and in anger looked up at the Doctor, who was also clutching his head.

"What the hell was that for?!" I screamed. "Was that really necessary?!"

"You didn't understand why you weren't safe there. The Cybermen are hard to defeat." He sputtered, his back against the wall. He slid down, finally sitting on the floor with a pained look on his face.

I gasped again as another wave of memories hit me hard. A blonde girl dressed as a waitress at a fancy looking party, when the windows were smashed as the Cybermen made their way inside. People ran, screaming and shouting, and I was taken outside, as the large group of Cybermen surrounded the Doctor and the blonde waitress girl, Rose.

How had I known her name was Rose? And how did I know the other guy's name was Craig? I winced as the throbbing didn't go away. Why did he have to do that?! It wasn't that necessary...

But I knew in my heart, it was. I had seen the dangers of the Cybermen and I knew I couldn't go back. No matter how much I thought I would be safe back at home, the safest place for me right now was here, in the TARDIS with the Doctor.

I sighed as I looked up again at him. He seemed to be recovering, and his energetic personality was coming back.

I stood up, rubbing the back of my head with my hand, still trying to make the pain go away. I walked to where he was sitting, and despite my anger at him for BONKING ME IN THE HEAD, I offered him my hand.

He gave a slight smile, and he took my hand, helping himself as I pulled him up.

"So, I guess I have no choice but to come with you," I sighed, looking up at him. He nodded, not smiling. I opened my mouth to say something when he whizzed right past me, and back to the control panel. I sighed again. This man was hard to keep up with.

"We need to get going," he said, not looking up as he started to fiddle again with the switches.

"Where?"

He looked up at me. "To wherever the Cybermen are hiding."

"Does this mean somewhere exotic and pretty, like Paris? That would so amazing! I would love to go to Paris!!" I squealed. He rubbed his ear.

"No, it's not Paris," he muttered, going back to the controls.

"Where then?" I asked.

"Belgrade, Montana," he replied. He held a really big looking switch, but he didn't pull it. He looked at me and asked, "Are you ready?"

I shrugged. "It's no Paris, but oh well."

He grabbed my hand and pulled the switch. The middle of the controls started to stir, and the room started to shake.

"Here we go!!" He screamed, holding onto the railing behind him, still clutching my hand. I also grabbed the metal bar, and shouted what I always say when I'm about to do something crazy.

"GERONIMO!!!"

Okay, so that's it for now. It's kind of a bad ending but oh well. It's really late and it's a school night. Ugh. -_____-
