A/N MADDY ON THE SIDE

{Alex's POV} 

I looked at the beautiful meadow in front of me. It was gorgeous.

My meadow would put Bella and Edward's meadow to shame. Top that bloodsucker!

'you might want to sit down' the other person told me.

'waitbeforeyoutellmeanything,whatcanIcallyouandwhydoesitfeelalmostnormaltosithereandtalktoyou, areyoualittlealienthingthatwentintomybrainandareyougoingtomakemeyourpuppet-' I blurted out in one breath.

'whoa, tone it down Ed Sheeran, this isn't U.N.I, you can call me your wolf and it feels normal to talk to me because I'm you. I'm not a little alien that crawled into your brain and is trying to use you as a puppet.' my wolf said.

Wait a second...

'wait, why are you my wolf?!' I asked her.

'Alex you come from a family of werewolves-' my wolf started before I cut her off.

'Haha, i thought you said werewolves! You're funny, but seriously why are you talking to me and what are you!?' I asked.

'Alex, i'm your werewolf side. You ARE a werewolf.'' my 'wolf' told me.

'No I'm not!' I said starting to cry.

I'm going crazy! I'm going to have to be sent to a mental institution, I'm having conversations within me and my other side is trying to convince me that I'm a werewolf!! 

I must be The Joker and Bellatrix Lestrange's love child, I mean how much more crazier can I get?!

'Alexandria London Torres! pull yourself together! I promise you you're not going crazy, I'm going to explain everything to you but you need to not interrupt me and wait until i FINISH speaking.' my Dr.Jekyll side told me.

'oh please, you're Dr.Jekyll and I'm Mr.Hide if anything, you think I'm an alien!' my 'wolf' told me.

Okay, my 'wolf' has sass, it has to be a part of me, right?

'right, now sit..' my wolf told me.

I sat on the soft grass, for some strange reason I trusted this other part of me.

'okay, let's see, Alex, you come from a family of werewolves. Your mom and dad were both werewolves. They met and fell in love because of something that werewolves refer to as finding your mate. When you complete the mating process than I'm going to be able to come out and transform.' my wolf said.

'into a werewolf I presume?' I asked

'yup.' my wolf told me.

'so are we more like the werewolves from Vampire Diaries or from Teen Wolf?' I asked my wolf, not really understanding why I suddenly believed her.

She rolled her eyes, don't ask me how I know that, I just do.

'vampire diaries werewolves. We don't turn into ugly half wolf people and we don't feel the need to kill anyone either. We look like regular wolves except slightly bigger. We follow an Alpha, we only shift on full moons but we are stronger than humans even without a full moon. How do you think you were able to come in second place against the other wolves?' my wolf asked me.

'wait there's wolves on my track team?!' i screeched.

'yeah.' my wolf said sounding slightly bored.

I spent the rest of the afternoon discussing werewolves with my wolf and about our lifestyle.

'one last question I promise and tell me the truth. Are you planning on meeting our mate and completing the mating process and turning into a wolf and staying as a wolf forever so that I'm trapped and have no control over what I do?' I asked voicing something I've been thinking about for a while now.

'Alex, this isn't the book The Host, for the final time, I'm you. You know how in cartoons they have a conscious thing that tells them good from bad? the angel and the devil? Well imagine that I'm something like that, I'm like you but in a different form, all my thoughts and words are your own. I'm not planning on staying in wolf form when we mate. I only change into wolf form after we mate and when it's a full moon, then we stay in wolf form until the night is through, you get it?' my wolf asked me.

'Sort of, I feel like I'm in Inception and I'm going to wake up any moment now, but I get it.' I said.

'you're special' my wolf told me.

I beamed at the compliment, It's not everyday I'm complemmented. 

'special ed.' my wolf said laughing.

Wow my wolf is mean. 

 'so when are we going to meet our mate?' I asked her ignoring her little chuckles.

It wasn't even that funny.

'we've already met our mate.' my wolf told me.

'who is it?' I asked curiously.

'Schuyler.' my wolf purred.

For Skye to be my mate it means that he would have to be a werewolf.

'The resident bad boy is a werewolf?' I asked in wonder.

Guess I'm Alex in WONDER-land, ha ha, I know that was lame.
