{Alex's POV}

"Eva!" I said hugging the coolest person ever.

"Alex!" She said hugging me back.

What, I haven't seen her all day.

Right now I'm currently sitting next to Skye and Ruby with Carter, Mouth, Dylan, Diane, Aidan, Jake, Nix, Chris, Kat, and Maddy. Eva had just came from the lunch line. 

"So guys, now that I know about you guys being dogs-" I started to say before they gave me dirty looks.

I feigned innocence. 

"Tell me, who's mated with who?" I said in an overly girly voice.

"Me and Carter are mated,'' Nix said looking at Carter with googly eyes. He looked at her the same way.

Sweet but gross. Kind of like seeing your grandparents kiss.

Wait no, that's just gross.

"I'm mated with Dylan." Dylan's mate Diane said.

Diana was really sweet, she had big nerd glasses that looked adorable on her and cute cheeks, she was so cute I wanted to pinch her cheeks but considering that she's older than me, I didn't do that. Dylan's arm was slung around her shoulder casually but you could see that he was giving people death glares for looking at Diane.

"I'm sadly mated to Aidan." Chris said rolling her eyes playfully. 

Aidan sticks his tongue out at her childishly.

"I'm mated to Jake." Kat said lifting her hand and I saw that Jake was holding onto it tightly, like he was afraid she'd run away. 

"I'm single and ready to mingle!" Maddy said throwing her hands above her head like she was about to dance.

Ruby high five her.

"And I'm mated to Christopher 'mouth' Daniels." Eva said giving Mouth a playful glare.

I laughed.

"It's weird since you're so quiet while Mouth is so-" I said to Eva trying to find the right words.

"Loud and annoying?" Skye asked.

Everyone laughed and I elbowed him.

"I was going to say a chatter box but okay." I said.

"That's how the whole mating thing works." Mouth said shrugging his shoulder, "How are you and you're mate?" He said girlishly.

"Yea, tell us all about it!" Dylan said in the same girlish voice.

"Is he a good kisser?" Jake said innocently.

"Wait, you guys kissed already?" Kat asked excitedly.

"Oh my god, tell me all about it!" Maddy and Diane said at the same time.

"Where there instant sparks?" Nix asked.

"Ooh, Alex and Skye gettin' it on!" Chris laughed.

"Spill the beans, little Alex!" Eva said in a horrible British accent.

"And this is what we were imitating." Carter said.

"Yeah was I a good kisser?" Skye asked in high pitched voice.

"Please don't ever make that dying sound again." Aidan said.

"Can we not talk about my brother and Alex 'gettin' it on' please!" Ruby said putting air quotes around what Chris said.
