*Skye's POV*
I watched Alex go and felt a little pull in my heart. So this is what it's like to fall for a girl. I'm not in love. Not yet. I know I will, eventually but I just met Alex, and she's human, even if she was born to be a werwolf.
Alex doesn't know this, but if you don't shift, a month after you get the tell-tale signs of becoming a werewolf, your inner werewolf starts to slowly die of starvation.
Regular human food isn't enough to sustain a full grown werewolf.
Alex will eventually become human. Which means she's going to age faster than me, which means she'll die before I do.
Ouch, I just felt my heart break. 

So this is what those girls complain about in those stupid love books. I guess I can see why Edward changed Bella. Even if he is an ugly and smelly vampire.

Eww. Vampires are just gross. They're like the cast of the Jersey Shore, but with much paler skin and sharper teeth. They have that big stupid hair and loud annoying ways. 

Anyways, I talked to my pack as I waited for Alex to return. She was taking forever, so I took out my phone and opened up instagram. I scrolled through my requests and noticed one from _BellaLajara_ I immediatetly recognized her name. We had gone to middle school together. She was pretty, but nothing compared to Alex.

I opened up other apps on my phone until Alex came back. 

She was taking a long time so my thoughts started to drift to Maude, my little sister. 

Maude was an amazing person and I miss her so much. 

I couldn't let myself continue to think about my missing sister, so I went outside to look for Alex.

As soon as I got out I saw Eva, and Andrew walk up to the door with Alex. 

Wait, weren't they doing their own thing? Oh well.

As soon as Alex saw me her eyes widened and she turned to Eva and Andrew. 

They looked at her sympthically before running off in their own directions, which I noticed, weren't towards their mates. 

"What's wrong Alex?"  I asked the beautiful crazy girl in front of me.

"Nothing." She said looking like she wanted to be anywhere else but here.

Kind of like Kristen Stewart in all her interviews.

Something in her eyes was weird so I was about to put my hands on her shoulders before I stopped. She looked like she was going to cry.

"Hey, what's the matter?" I said softly, trying to be sweet. 

"Nothing's wrong!" She yelled at me before running off. 

I chased her to her room but she locked the door in my face. 

I pounded on the door.

"Alex! Alex open up!" I yelled at her.

"Go away!" She yelled back.

"Alex what's wrong?" I asked.

She didn't answer me for a good thirty minutes.

I was about to leave before her soft voice stopped me.

"Skye? I'm rejecting you as my mate." She said quietly.

I laughed, she was a real jokester.

"Okay Alex." I said chuckling.

"I'm not joking." She said, her voice no longer quiet.

"What?" I asked confused.

"I, Alexandria London Torres reject you, Schuyler Morelli." She said with a loud clear voice.

"What? Why?" I said, feeling my heartbreaking.

"Because I hate you! You're a mean, cold jerk and I hate your guts. You're a bad person and...and... I never want to see or talk to you again!" She yelled, and her words struck me in the heart.

Something in me broke as I realized she truly meant her rejection. I became angry and mean.

"You know what fine! I hate you too!" I yelled at her.

My wolf yelled at me to take back my words but I couldn't I was pissed off.

She thought I was a mean, cold, bad and a jerk?! I'll show her the meanest, coldest, baddest, jerkiest person I could be! I thought as I walked away.

Faintly hearing a soft crying that sounded like Alex.

Excuse me, Alexandria.
