Kokichis pov
"hiiiya hah!"
"Umm tenko remind me why we're doing akido training with you again?" I asked.
Tenko dragged me and toko out for some Akido lessons and still hasn't told us why! I mean I thought she hated boys.
"I overheard your conversation with toko" tenko said kicking the air "you told her to live for herself rather than for a man which is what I've always told young girls! So kokichi I've decided to make you an honorary girl!"
"eh?" I raised an eyebrow. This could be interesting.
"and toko I'm going to teach you how to love yourself!"
"f-forget this I'm l-leaving" toko marched off.
"ok toko we'll try again tomorrow" tenko waved cheerfully. She turned to me "ok kokichi let's start your training"
"ok" I put on a blonde stereotype voice "oh my god tenko babe how has himiko been doing. Oh my god I bet your going to get married someday!"
"girls don't talk like that you degenerate!" she yelled "and as for himiko... I've decided to keep my distance from her"
"huh why?" I couldn't understand. She's been obsessed with her since day one. Why would she want to keep her distance?
She took a seat next to me "every time I try to confess it always ends with himiko dieing. I figured if I don't confess this time she might not die"
"I understand. We all gotta do our best to break this loop we're in" we sat in silence for a moment "I know it's selfish to say but... I don't want the loop to break just yet. Not until I have big sis kyoko and chihiro back with me"
"kokichi" tenko looked at me sadly "I'm so sorry about chihiro. I've lost himiko so many times so I understand what it's like. Do you want to talk about it?"
"no but a hug would be nice" I chuckled.
"ok just this once you degenerate!" she opened her arms for me.
I accepted the hug greatfully. Her warm embrace reminded me of kyoko and chihiro. How they'd hug me when I felt lonely or scared. How it always made me feel better.
I let out a soft sob.
"shh kokichi you'll be ok. I promise" tenko said gently.
I cried into her chest while she rubbed my back soothingly.
It feels good to cry sometimes.
