Unexpected Killer

Kokichis pov

We all took our places at the stands once again. Korekiyo was trying to improve himself. Tenko was trying desperately for himiko to live. Someone here took those opportunity's from them and I won't forgive them for that!

"that degenerate Korekiyo is the one who murdered my darling himiko!" tenko yelled.

"uhh he's dead" taka pointed out.

"then it was a murder suicide!" tenko claimed "that's definitely something that freak would do!"

"oh that makes sense" hina beamed.

"no it doesn't" I spoke up "Kiyo was trying to change. He was even getting help from keade"

"that's right!" keade said firmly "he was trying his best to get through his traumatic past and look towards a bright future. I don't believe he would have done this!"

"if that's the case then who killed my himiko!" tenko said desperately.

"don't worry tenko we will find himikos killer" I said firmly.

"ok I'm putting my trust in you kokichi. I can't believe I'm putting my trust in a man" she muttered the last part to herself.

"ok" I muttered. Where should I start with this trail. I guess the best place to start is by questioning tenko "I'm still curious as to how himiko ended up the victim. Tenko you didn't invite her out did you?"

"no I was keeping my distance from her"

"how the hell we know your not lying" mondo muttered.

"it's fine. She's not" I muttered.

"how do you know!"

"don't you remember mondo sempi. I can't always tell when someone is lying" I winked at him.

"Well you screwed cleste over good with that talent of yours so I'll take yours so I'll take your word for it" he grinned.

"thanks for that kokichi" tenko said greatfully "I don't have the strength to fight with that animal"

"anyway let's move on" I said quickly "both victims were killed by several blows to the head. Its unknown who was the first victim since the Monokuma file doesn't specify but my best guess is that it was korekiyo since himiko was near the door. Making me believe she was lured here by the killer"

"how awful" hina said tearfully.

"the killer most likely used the shock of kiyos body to get the jump on her" I speculated.

"that basturd!" tenko yelled.

"so what was used to kill them" rantaro asked.

"it was this statue" I held the blood covered statue up.

"that's a statue of a god" Hiro yelped "we've disrespected a god. Quick start praying before we get zapped by lightning!" he put his hands together in prayer.

"it's not any god statue. It's a statue of atua!" mokoto yelled.

"and how do you know what atua looks like?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Umm Angie bullied me into doing some atua rituals" mokoto admitted.

"of course" I sighed. A sudden realisation came to me "hold on. The murder weapon was an atua statue. That sounds an awful lot like something you would do Angie!"

Everyone turned to Angie who was smiling brightly.

"Well spotted Little kokichi but that could have been anyone. After all atua is for all!" she said in her usual cheery tone.

"no but the fact that himiko is the second victim dose" I snapped back "himiko had been killed twice already. She wasn't going to let herself get lured away by just anyone"

"it would have to be someone she trusts" tenko gasped "someone like you Angie!"

"Well? Don't you have anything to sa-"

"I don't regret it"

"huh?"

"you heard me. I don't regret a thing" she said in a chilling voice "for atua told me to live no matter what and to do that I had to kill him. The only thing I regret is getting caught" she kept that creepy smile plastered on her face.

"alright kids it voting time!" Monokuma yelled as we all voted for Angie.

"why?" tenko shook her head helplessly "why kill himiko? I understand Korekiyo but why himiko!"

"she was outside the door when I had finished killing Korekiyo" she explained "judging by what she was muttering she was waiting to hear the confession you've been so desperately trying to get out"

"no" tenko whispered as tears weld up in her eyes

"yes!" Angie beamed "I called her in and killed her. I didn't want to kill one of atuas followers but she was going to die when I escaped anyway so I saw no problem with this. I was simply tieing up loose ends"

"what did you say!" she yelled ready to charge at him.

"tenko stop!" I placed a hand on her shoulder "it's ok. She's going to be punished now"

"o-ok" she tried to calm herself.

"ahh yes now is the end" she put her hands together in prayer "atua please accept me into your loving embrace in my final hour"

"let's give it everything we've got! Iiiiiiits punishment Time!"

Angie was chained down to a pentagram while a bunch of hooded Monokumas chanting around her

The clouds parted and a Monokuma with wings came down and zapped her with lightning. She was fried alive.

"maybe I should be more careful about the girls I fall for" Hiro muttered.

"ya think?" hina rolled her eyes.

I kept staring at Angies body. I wonder did she feel at peace in her final moments at the thought of entering atuas kingdom.
