Brian and Frankie got up, got dressed, and ran downstairs as fast as possible. Brian quickly looked over at Frankie and asked, "What the heck is that!?"
"Sounds like an alarm! I think it might be coming from the museum!" Frankie said, yelling over the blaring sirens.
They both ran over to the museum and found a crowd gathered at the entrance, and police guarding it. Brian asked the police what had happened and they answered, "someone broke into this museum and stole a dinosaur bone. We are trying to find them inside."
In the corner of his eye, Brian spotted some black blurs running away from the back of the museum. He nugded Frankie's side. "Hey, Frankie, I think that's them! We have to find out where they are going!"
Frankie and Brian ran after them. They all ran into Pinwheel Forest, but Frankie and Brian lost sight of the thieves. "How are we supposed to find them in here? This forest is huge," Brian said.
"We have to at least look," said Frankie. The boys looked around the path that goes through the forest, but couldn't find anything. All of a sudden, Keldeo burst out of its pokéball.
"Keldeo, what's wrong?" Brian asked. Keldeo started to run deeper into the forest. "Wait! Where are you going!?" Brian yelled. He started to run after Keldeo, deeper into the forest.
Eventually, Keldeo led Brian to a small opening in the forest. It was filled with flowers and there was beams of light filtering from above. In the center of the opening, standing next to Keldeo, was a tall green pokémon with bright pink eyes and a graceful posture. It looked at Brian. "Trainer... It said, I am Virizion, and I guard this forest."
Brian looked startled and said, "Wait, how can you talk? Your a pokémon!"
"I can talk to you through telekinesis," Virizion said, "Anyway, I have noticed you have Keldeo on your team. I am one of its mentors. The reason I have summoned you here, trainer, is because Keldeo's training hasn't finished."
Brian looked disappointed and said, "Does that mean Keldeo has to stay here with you?"
Virizion shook its head. "No. As I said before, I am only one of Keldeo's mentors. In fact, there are three of us; there's me, Terrakion, and Cobalion. For Keldeo to reach its full strength, we must all be united. This is the reason I summoned you, Brian. I would like to travel with you and gather Keldeo's mentors."
Brain looked relieved. "Phew. I thought I was going to lose Keldeo. And about your request, I would love to have another friend to tag along with us!" Keldeo was happy, and Virizion smiled.
Frankie was sitting on a bench near the area Keldeo ran into. He saw Brian, Keldeo and Virizion walk out of the forest. "Oh good your alright! ...But who's that?" Frankie said, pointing at Virizion.
Brian and Virizion explained everything to Frankie. Then Brian remembered why he was there and asked, "Virizion, have you seen any people running around here in black suits?"
"Yes, there were 2 people who passed by my home a few minutes before you arrived. They were headed toward a cave just north of here," said Virizion.
The group ran towards the cave where the thieves supposedly were. When they arrived, they could hear machinery deep inside the cavern. "That sounds like a drill," Frankie said.
They quietly walked into the cavern, trying to stay unnoticed. Brian spotted a banner on the wall, and whispered to the group, "That black and white shield... It has the letters 'P' and 'S' on it. What does that stand for? Anyway, let's investigate."
As they were walking, someone spotted them and yelled, "Hey! Who are you!? Someone get them!" Brian, Frankie, Virizion and Keldeo started to run, but the exit was blocked by a barricade of people.
An older looking man in a huge purple jacket wearing a tall hat slowly walked up to Brian, Frankie, and Virizion. "Hmm... Who are these people? Intruders? Now... Us members of Team Plasma won't be having that around here," the man said.
"You're part of Team Plasma!" Brian yelled at the man. "Where'd you take my sister!?"
"Hm? Oh yes, the girl. That is classified information, boy. Sorry," the man said with a wicked grin. "Only Ghestis can authorize us to give information like that to intruders like you, so if you want her back, ask him. Oh wait; he's not here. Where is he, you ask? That, I'm afraid, is also classified," he said, still wearing his evil smile.
"Fine, then at least tell us your name," Frankie asked.
"Zinzolin. One of the great sages of Team Plasma," Zinzollin said, "and since you're here, I'll tell you one last thing; Team Plasma will rise again, and you can't stop us. We'll be leaving now," he said. He turned around, started moving toward some machinery, and took the stolen artifact from the museum. It was a fossil. "One more thing," Zinzolin said, "we'll be leaving, but you lot won't!"
Zinzolin quickly took out a pokéball and a Haxorus appeared in front of him. "Now, Haxorus, use Draco Meteor!" Rocks started forming above Frankie, Brian, Keldeo, and Virizion. The floating rocks started glowing purple and crashed into the group. They were all knocked unconscious.
When they started to wake up, Frankie, Brian, Keldeo and Virizion were all alone in the cavern. Team Plasma had left with the fossil, and all evidence that had been there.
"Dang... I was so close to getting Steph back, but at the same time I was so far," Brian sadly said. "We should get out of here."
Frankie, Brian, Virizion, and Keldeo all left Pinwheel Forest tired and exhausted. They arrived at the Nacrene City pokémon center, and healed up. Since it was almost night, Frankie and Brian got rooms and fell asleep.
Hopefully, Brian thought, tomorrow I can challenge the Nacrene City Gym. He hadn't enough time to think much before he fell fast asleep that night. Until tomorrow... Brian thought to himself.
