Chapter 12- Nightmares

"Bri, wake up."
"What?"
"Bri come on. You fell asleep, let's get you to your bed."
"What time is it?"
"5." Your eyes immediately shoot open and you jolt up.
"How did I fall asleep? We were talking."
"Hey it's ok, let's just get you to your bed." Bucky helps you up and you two walk to your room. He opens the door and leads you to your bed. "Here we are Doll." Bucky helps lay you down.
"Stay please," you grab his arm while laying down.
"Ok," he chuckles at the fact that you're half awake and can't keep your eyes open. You feel him snuggle into the bed with you. He wraps his arms around you, cautious of his metal arm. "Goodnight Doll," he says planting a kiss on your forehead.
"Goodnight Buck." You both fall asleep pretty quickly with your head resting on Bucky's chest.

Bucky's nightmare (from his pov*)
You're walking through a dark building. Hearing screams, they get louder the farther you go into the building.  Making your way into a smaller room. After walking in you hear the door slam shut leaving you locked inside.
"Bucky!" The lights flash on revealing Bri strapped down in a chair with two men on both sides of her.
"We've finally got you, and all it took was taking your girl. Gentlemen now that we have him we don't need the girl, unless if she could be useful." You look away from to men back to Bri and see her crying helplessly.
"Please don't hurt her," you beg.
"Well if she offers us no use then we must get rid of her. Or we could make her into one of our soldiers. Just like you wouldn't that be great Winter Soldier?"
"No!" You try and run to Bri but the men grab you and hold you back. "Don't hurt her please!"
"Bucky help me."
"Well I've decided, she is no use to us but we can't let her back into the world. She might reveal to people where we are. Kill her."
"No!" You scream trying to break free from the men. When the man talking lifts a gun up to Bri's head.
"Hail hydra," he leans down and says into her ear before pulling the trigger.
"No! Bri!"
End of nightmare

"Bucky wake up." You say shaking Bucky. You notice he is breathing really heavily.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you?"
"You were tossing and turning and kept mumbling."
"I'm sorry it was just a nightmare, you can go back to sleep."
"Ok," you say kissing him on the cheek before laying back down with your head on his chest.

When you wake back up you see Bucky awake and playing with your hair.
"Good morning Doll."
"Good morning," you say yawning. "What time is it?"
"Almost 10, how did you sleep?"
"Good."
"That's good."
"Buck," you say looking up at him so that way you guys are making direct eye contact.
"Yeah?"
"Do you always have nightmares?"
"Not every night but I do have them pretty often. I'm really sorry for waking you up."
"It's ok I'm not mad about it."
"You're the best," he says giving you a kiss on the cheek.
