Request: "↬ Kakuzu made sure you were completely asleep before he said it back" How about a sequence of this scene when s/o is pretending to sleep and he said that and the she says "got ya!! I know u love me!" How do you think he is going to react and what he would say after that??????

Kakuzu approached you slowly, your words still fresh in his mind as he slowly brought a hand up to stroke your hair.

Kakuzu sighed, letting his hand fall away from your hair after a moment. "Idiot..."

Though he wasn't sure if those words were meant for you or himself.

Staring at you for a long moment, and making sure you were really unconscious as you seemed, Kakuzu closed his eyes.

"I...love you too, my dear. More than you could ever know..."

What he wasn't prepared for was you abruptly sitting up, clearly very awake and a grin brighter than the goddamned sun.

"You love me too! I knew it!" You giggled, though slightly dizzy from springing up so suddenly.

After Kakuzu realized what had happened, he narrowed his eyes at you. Irritated and just a little embarrassed at being caught.

With a scoff Kakuzu grabbed your pillow and hit you with it so hard, you actually fell unconscious.

Seeing your now drooling form on the bed, Kakuzu shook his head.

"Heh, idiot."

This time, he was definitely talking about you.
