       KENDRICK DEVIN MONTENEGRO

"Where's my money?" I asked coldly.

A gun in my hand is ready to kill. One wrong move, and this bastard's skull will going to explode.

"I-Ito na 'yung pera mo. Pakiusap, huwag mo akong patayin!" He knelt down and presented the black duffel bag.

"Don't even try to fool me, bastard. I'm gonna ask you again, where's my money?" I sounded colder.

He turned pale.

"I-Ito na lang ang meron ako. Maniwala ka. P-P-Pero 'wag kang mag alala, dadagdagan ko." He was shaking to death.

"Beg for your life."

He knelt even more, almost kissing the carpeted floor. Nakakatuwang tignan ang mga taong nagmamakaawa para lang mabuhay.

"N-Nakikiusap ako. Parang awa mo na 'wag mo akong papatayin!"

The moment I felt the satisfaction, I shot him straight in the head.

He who pays well is well served.

"Clean this mess up. I want this place spotless," I commanded my soldiers before leaving.

"Ano'ng gagawin natin kay Taylor?" my consigliere asked me.

"Get the money and kill him."

Taylor is the courier of a betting ring jointly run by my associates and another group. He carries a backpack with a million dollars in bundled cash. Sports betting is just one of my dirty businesses, and I just found out that someone is trying to mess up with me, trying to play a game they can never win.

I opened my car's door, and placed my still-hot gun on the dashboard, and smoothly maneuvered the car. My phone rang. My capo is on the line.

"Boss, mission accomplished."

"Good job. How's the shipments?"

"Goods resold, Boss."

I ended the call. This has been my life over the past few years. I'm living in the underworld and heading an organized crime group. I inherited this position from my grandfather, who was once the powerful godfather of a black-hand group called the Malevolence Triad.

I live a violent and often brief life. Our core objective is about one thing: money. Whether it's good or bad, it's just money. To make a lot of it, our group is involved in most organized crimes and participates in numerous illegal activities, which offer an attractive income source.

But it's not just money; it's more than that. I want power. I want to climb to the top of the criminal world and be part of a mafioso family called the Black Underground Society. And in order to do that, I need to talk to my grandfather right now.

Gamit ang isang private chopper, pumunta ako sa lungga ng matanda. Sinalubong agad ako ng kanyang mga tauhan at iginiya sa isang nag iisang mansyon sa isla. He has never changed. I guess he was really serious when he said he wanted to be alone forever.

"Magandang gabi, Señorito," bati ng isang kasambahay na hindi ko pinansin.

Dumiretso na ako sa study room ni Grandpa. I didn't even bother to knock. It looks like he was expecting me anyway.

"You came earlier than expected," his deep baritone voice echoed the room.

Nakatayo at nakatalikod ito malapit sa malaking bintana at may hawak na alak sa kamay. He's in his usual well-ironed coat and tie, looking aristocratic as always.

"I need my money," I said coldly.

Natawa siya at bahagyang napayuko.

"That's what I liked about you, son. You're straightforward."
