Soft classical music welcomed us as we entered a fine dining restaurant inside the cruise ship. I quietly surveyed the area where lots of prominent and business-class people gathered to celebrate a big company's anniversary.

It's a good thing that it was a masquerade party. Otherwise, we'll get caught quickly. As if I'm scared, though. Tss. Tinignan ko si Barbie sa tabi ko.

Who would have thought that this classy-looking woman beside me was actually a lunatic?

She's perfectly sculpted in elegance. Only then does she keep pouting her lips. Well, maybe that could be considered a cool mannerism. I guess.
 
She's very curious about her surroundings and looks like she's looking for something. And I was right when she suddenly dragged me away when she saw a lot of food.
 
We sat on a table for two, and the waiter immediately attended to us, giving us menus. I ordered a single dish for her and a juice drink. I let her eat while I spoke through my earpiece.

"Spyder."

"Mi lord."

"I'm leaving after five minutes. Where are you?" mahinang sabi ko at uminom ng tubig.

"I'm coming."

"Shriek," I asked the other line.

"Boss."

"Update."

"Almost done, boss. Kaunti na lang."

I grinned inwardly. Pinanood ko muna si Barbie na busugin ang sarili niya at nang lumipas na ang limang minuto ay tumayo na ako. Barbie then looked at me immediately, with her mouth full.

"Stay here alright? I'll be back," I lied, obviously.

I thought she'd rant, but she just nodded happily. I smirked.

That's it, baby. Always obey me.

I started to walk and find the said casino room. My eyes wandered around the moment I stepped in. The demons' hub. Honestly, it's not so nice to see people like me in an enclosed area. It feels like it will explode anytime soon because of so much heat. Mahihiya ang impyerno sa mga hangal na taong nandirito ngayon na parumihan maglaro.

The gentlemen's hearty laugh sounds like that of the devil, and the ladies' sounds like that of a witch. witches or bitches. I don't really give a damn, because idiots of the same feather really fuck together.
 
Nang makita ko ang utak ng kahangalang ito ay agad akong lumapit. The devil in flesh—Morgan Castillejos. He eyed me intently the moment I stopped in front of his table. He gave me a mischievous grin when he recognized me. And even behind the mask, I saw how his eyes flamed slowly before they turned into slits.

"As I was expecting," he said cockily and grinned.

Tumayo agad ang isang kalaro niya at nilahad ang pwesto. Kalmado akong umupo nang 'di tinatanggal ang tingin sa kanya.

Everyone crowded us like some kind of rival celebrity, but Morgan raised his hand, and suddenly they all disappeared. This brute really knows how to play a game, huh? Well, then, let's see.
 
The dealer then started to distribute the cards, but our burning eyes remained locked with each other.

"I open one million," Morgan said, giving me a smug look.

Tss. Idiot.

I gave my cards a quick glance and returned to his eyes.

"I raise to ten million," I boredly said.

The other players immediately folded. The side of his lips rose a bit.

"Call."

When I laid down my cards, his smile faded a little. I had a royal flush, while he had a four-of-a kind.
