A choked gasp broke the silence of the room, Levi's eyes snapping open before he launched up in bed, a cold sweat dripping down the back of his neck as he slowly turned to look at the empty bed beside him, barely illuminated by the dim glow of the moon on the dark room.

His heart raced in his throat and his eyes glossed over as he saw the empty spot beside him, making him choke up slightly.

"Y/n..." he whispered softly to himself, whipping his head up as the door swung open.

Peering into the room, y/n tilted her head curiously at the startled man who was sitting upright with no shirt on, his eyes bloodshot.

"Levi?" She asked. "What's wrong? You look scared."

Levi quickly relaxed, letting go of a shaky breath as she stepped into the room and closed the door behind her, eyes quickly adjusting from the previous candle light in the office next door to the darkness of the bedroom.

"Nothing..." he whispered, shaking his head dismissively. "It was just a nightmare."

Y/n hummed knowingly and made her way across the room to sit beside him on the bed, slipping under the blanket and pulling him down to lay beside her.

He stared at her face silently as she traced small patterns on his chest absentmindedly, her eyes staring out her window at the snow falling to the ground, the white of the snowflakes contrasting against the darkened sky and tree line.

"It's snowing pretty heavily," she pointed out with a grin, her nails tickling against his bare chest, sending goosebumps across his skin.
"We should go play in it tomorrow."

Suddenly becoming more aware of her hands on his skin, Levi fault rather ashamed over the fact he probably had smoother skin that a baby, and grabbed her hand, sitting up.

"Why wait until tomorrow?" He whispered, feeling a smile overcome him. "Let's go now."

Y/n stared at him with stunned eyes before a wide toothy grin over took her face, throwing her arms around his neck in a hug.

"I ACTUALLY LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" She laughed loudly, tumbling past him and off the bed to scramble toward the wardrobe.

Levi narrowed his eyes as he looks over at y/n from just behind his clumsily made wall of snow to protect himself from the onslaught of snowballs.

Laying nest to him in a other pile were neatly made balls of snow that he was occasionally hitting y/n in the face with.

Currently though, y/n was no where in sight, presumably hidden behind her own snow wall, which was much better made than Levi's.

Confused, Levi stands, grabbing a snowball in the process before stepping over his defence wall and creeping towards y/n's, the snow crunching quietly beneath his boots.

Straining his neck to peer over the parapet of snow, his face falls even more when he realised that she's still no where to be see.

Grinning widely, y/n laughs evilly as she holds a large Boulder of snow above her head, her laugh startling Levi into turning around and making his eyes widen at the sheer size of the snowball.

"Fuck-" Levi falls to the ground when the snowball makes contact with his face, crushing the two he had in his hands while y/n doubles over in tear jerking laughter.

Shaking off the snow, Levi glares at
y/n who was clutching at her stomach and struggling to breath as she chortled like a pig, tears running down her face.
Levi with now pink skin from the cold on his face, gets to his feet and starts stepping towards y/n.

Y/n looked up at the sound of crunching snow, her laughter coming to an abrupt stop as she watched Levi start to get closer.

"Wait, Levi," she whispers, taking steps backwards, holding her gloved hands up in a calming motion.
"Let's just talk this over, yeah?"

Levi let's out a humourless chuckle at her attempt of reasoning and raised an eyebrows at her.

"This means war." He said, making
y/n's heart drop into her stomach before she turns and takes of sprinting in the other direction, Levi immediately running after her.

"NO!" She yells desperately, though she can't help the laugh that escapes her. "LEVI IM SORRY!"

With her eyes clenched shut to shield them from the harsh wind and still falling snow, y/n runs for dear life, unaware of how close behind her Levi actually is.

Catching up with ease, Levi wraps his arms around her waist from behind and pulls her into his chest, making her scream loudly and cover her mouth.

Glancing over her shoulder at him and lowering her hand from her mouth, she chuckles nervously when she sees the smirk on Levi's face.

"I'm fucked, arent I?" She asks shakily.

"Yes dear," he whispers into her ear smugly. "You're fucked."

With the sun rising through the window, Erwin stretches before he opens his eyes, the sound of excited chatter and footsteps rushing down the hallway.

From his laying down position, he could see the trees were covered in snow, providing an answer as to why the cadets were so excited this early in the morning.

"Seems almost everyone enjoys snow." He smiled slightly. "No matter the age."

Straightening himself up and getting out of bed, he walks to the window and peers out to admire the snow, only to see a large, crudely made House made out of crisp white snow, Curt wounded by dozens of snowmen and snow-women, the women having rather obnoxiously large boobs.

Closing his eyes again and pursing his lips into a fed up smile, he nods, inhaling deeply.

"Ah yes," he sighs. "The military."
