Y/n hums thoughtfully to herself as she cleans the window, dragging the cloth along the glass.

It was to be Levi's office and their shared bedroom and Levi had left her in charge of cleaning while he went with Eren and Hange to look at the Titans.

Slowly, more and more people began to show up with all of the stuff from the last Headquarters, horses and Karts pulling up outside every hour or so.

Eventually, her and Levi's stuff had arrived and she helped the other cadets move it into the room.

But now, as she cleaned the window panes, she could see another horse and cart appear from the trees surrounding the castle.

"Weird." She thought to herself. "I thought everyone was here."

She lowered the cloth and opened the window up fully, leaning on her crossed arms and peering out of the high up window.

"ERWIN!" She called upon seeing the blond man standing by, waiting for the cart to reach him.

He looked around in confusion, not being able to see y/n and making her snicker at his obliviousness.

"IN THE WINDOW!" She yelled again.

He whipped around and stared directly up at her, a deadpan look on his face as she grins down at him.

"Don't fall out!" He cupped his hands around his mouth to shout louder.

"I won't!" Y/n did the same. "What's with the cart?!"

Erwin opened his mouth to speak before cadets in their training uniforms began to pile out and
y/n's face lit up with excitement.

"NEWBIES!"

Erwin watched as she disappeared from the window, leaving it wide open and he sighed.

"Poor kids..." he thought to himself, remembering how she likes to show her scar and scare them.
Hopefully, she doesn't do it this year, this is the worst turnout they've ever had and he doesn't need anyone changing regiments.

Y/n barrelled down the hallways towards the front exit, skidding around every corner until she hurts through the door outside and running over to the cadets as the last few got out.

As she ran towards them and Erwin, two of them quickly noticed her and their faces lit up slightly.

"Miss y/n!" Armin yelled, smiling widely as she stopped in front of the large group, him and Mikasa at the front as they saluted her.

"No need to do that!" She waved them off. "I'm the same rank as you!"

Armin gaped at her and Mikasa's eyebrows raised in surprise.

"You're just a cadet?" Mikasa asked, hesitantly dropping her salute, Armin doing the same. "But you're so strong, surely you're a squad commander."

Erwin cleared his throat and slid into the conversation, making the two salute again, standing closer to
Y/n with his hands clasped behind his back and shoulders tensed.

"At ease cadets. And She declined my offer to make her a section commander." He glared down at her with a smug smile.

"I don't like responsibilities," y/n rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Hmm," Erwin hummed. "I best be going to introduce myself to the other castes then."

Y/n the ages him off and Armin and Mikasa saluted him as he left.
