Y/n sat beside Erwin's bed, her and levi both on his right and sitting on wooden chairs that had pulled up to his side while Commander Pixis was opposite them.

"I didn't know you could grown a beard, Erwin." Y/n snickered, pointing out the stubble he had grown in just a few days.

"I don't like facial hair." Erwin replied, smiling slightly.
"Too much upkeep."

Y/n hummed in response, reclining in her chair as a knock on the door echoed throughout the room.

Everyone looked suspiciously at the door, except for levi who instead gave them a reqssuring nod.

"It's Hange." He said. "Come in."

The door opened and in came Hange and Connie, stepped inside.

"Pardon the intrusion, Erwin." Hange started, becoming surprised when she seen the garrison commander, causing her to salute.

"Commander Pixis, glad we caught you. This is, state your name." She side glanced at Connie and he jumped into a salute.

"Sir, Connie Springer, sir, of the 104th cadet core."

"Connie here is originally from Ragako village." Hange explained, making Pixis hum slightly, turning in his seat.

"Oh yes, that's where the infestation seems to have begun, correct?"

"Yes sir, in fact, he has corroborated a valuable peice of evidence in that regard. I think you'll find his story supports our hypothesis. Soldier, if you will..."

Y/n and Levi shared a quick glance before returning their attention back to connie who pulled out a framed drawing of his parents, showcasing the portrait to the four of them.

"When we arrived at my village, the entire place had been destroyed, yet there was no sign of anyone.
There's was only one titan, one that couldn't walk, laying on top of my house and it looked just like my mother..."

Y/n furrowed her eyebrows, chewing the inside her cheek as she listened to him talk, explaining his thoughts.

"I think that the people of my village were some how turned into titans!"

The room froze, erwin, pixis, y/n and levi staring at both hange and Connie in disbelief.

"You're saying the citizens of ragako are behind this latest fiasco?" Pixis gaped, earning a small agreement from Connie.

"I see..." erwin muttered, looking down at his lap. "So, in actuality, titan are humans..?"

Levi's eyes widened, taking a sharp intake of breath through his nose.

Y/n felt her stomach churn, heart dropping and pounding in her ears.

"That's my hundredth solo kill!" She cheered, jumping up and down like a child on the corpse, steam rising around her as her horse arrived.

"Kill one-hundred and thirty!" She did a little victory dance jiggle, a couple of claps coming from the soldiers riding the carts who she had cleared the way for.

"You must enjoy killing the Titans miss!" The girl on the cart said.
"I wish I could kill them like you do!"
