Chapter 26

"I win." I cheered pulling all of the poker chips towards my chest. Harold sighed and tossed his cards away.

"Damn, should have known you had the ace of spades," Harold said then paused glancing at his watch.

"I should head home now, it was good to see you Sora." I smiled at Harold and nodded.

"Come visit again soon." I told him and looked around wondering where everyone had run off too. After getting all the chips, the others must have gone to bed or something.

"Goodnight Sora, get some rest. It's late." I nodded and waved as Harold made his exit.

I looked around the empty living room feeling suddenly lonely. I picked at the blankets on the couch frowning.

I wonder if one of them would let me sleep- why am I hesitating?! I'll just go!

I stomped into Romans room and threw the door open. Roman sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Sora-?"

I jumped into his bed and laid there heart pounding as I waited to see what he would do.

"Night love."

Love?

"Sora! Sora, Sora, Sora!" I groaned as someone bounced on the bed shaking my shoulders.

I choked as a toothbrush was stuffed into my mouth. I sat up blinking as a hairbrush ran through my hair.

"Waft?" I questioned toothbrush dangling from my lips. Reagan looked at me with wide eyes.

"The investigator will be here soon!" I stood and stumbled into the bathroom. I spat out the toothpaste before making my way back to the bed, where Reagan sat.

I proceeded to tackle him and sit on his hips.

Reagan gasped eyes wide as I pinned his hands above his head.

"We need to talk, you and I." I said softly hair acting like a curtain as I hovered over him. "Are you frightened of me right now?"

Reagan slowly shook his head making me smile slightly.

I bent down and placed a soft kiss on his collarbone. "And what about now?"

Reagan shivered.

"N-no." I frowned as he stuttered.

"Then what are you feeling exactly?" I asked brushing my lips further up and along his throat before making my way behind his ear.

"N-nervous?.... Ex-excited?" Reagan said quickly when I nipped at his ear.

I smiled and lifted my head so we were eye to eye.

"Do you like it when I kiss you?" His face flamed and I gently rubbed my nose against his.

"Y-yes." He admitted sounding embarrassed.

I pressed my lips together and released his hands, but he still kept them above his head as I gently grabbed his chin frowning.

"Then pray tell, how am I like Warren?" All desire slipped from Reagan's eyes as I said the name.

"S-Sora..." Reagan whispered when droplets fell on his face. I looked down ignoring the tears falling from my eyes.

"Answer me Reagan." I demanded. Reagan gulped.

"I didn't know you would take it that way, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Reagan was crying now too.

I inhaled sharply.

"You broke my heart." This had Reagan sobbing, which made me cry harder as well.
