Red eyes. Glowing red eyes was the single thing I saw before everything started spinning.

I gasped and clutched my chest before my hand slapped on the ground to keep me from face planting.

Shouts, cries for help, and whispers.

Then everything went black.

It didn't go black for long though, hands lifted me up and I gasped. I looked around the room stunned to see it filled with police.

The shadows were gone, and so was the redheaded ghost. No glowing red eyes in sight.

I gazed at the person holding me. "Uncle Ren?"

He smiled eyes softening. "Thank goodness you're okay, I walked in just in time to see you collapse."

I blinked as he set me on my feet. I swayed and he held my shoulders gently to hold me up. "Did someone sound the silent alarm? How are you here so quick?"

Ren winced. "Sora gave me a call, and she asked me tail you."

I blinked again. "So you did?"

Ren shrugged. "I owe your mother, but also have a bit of a thing against stalking, so I just stayed in the area and figured things out from there."

I nodded and stepped away from him looking around again. Statements were being taken, thief getting put into custody.

"Please don't tell them about this." I pleaded Ren. He frowned.

"The fainting or the robbery?"

I bit my lip. "Either! Everyone was just fighting this morning, and no one but Reagan and Carrots actually treat me like I'm capable! If they hear about this, I'll never be let outside again!"

Ren hesitated and sighed. "I guess for the time being, it doesn't hurt for them not to know, it'll just make them worry for no reason I suppose." Ren glanced at me.

"Arigato!" I told him and smiled.

Ren nodded. "You're welcome. Come on, let me give you a ride home."

I nodded and followed him out and into the police car. I buckled and frowned looking out the window.

"Are you okay Aria?" Ren asked sounding concerned. I nodded slightly. Really, I had mostly already forgotten about the robbery.

I wanted to know more about all the ghosts popping into my life. He pulled up the driveway and I unbuckled. "See you Aria."

I nodded and waved before rushing up into the house. I opened the door and threw off my shoes. I ran through the living room and past the kitchen.

"Aria, we need to talk -" Sora started as I rushed past her. I opened the door to my room and paused as a throat cleared behind me.

"Aria." I turned and frowned. Roman.

"Hai?" I questioned.

Roman sighed and rubbed his face. "No more Japanese, it's driving me crazy." He paused and went on. "We all talked, after you ran off," he paused again, like he expected me to apologize. I didn't.

"And we decided we might have been a little unfair, these past few years."

Why does it have to be Roman saying this? I thought feeling strangely bitter.

I said nothing making Roman look slightly annoyed. "So, I'm sorry." Roman finished.

I nodded and turned towards my bedroom door. Roman cleared his throat loudly. "Don't you have something to say to me?"
