Chapter 22

Roman began walking ahead of me through the deep snow making me sigh.

I carefully began walking in his footsteps avoiding the snow.

Roman turned and frowned.

"What are you doing?"

I blinked and shrugged.

"I'm just walking where you were."

He blushed and turned around with the soft murmer of "Cute,"

When we reached the side walk he waited for me to catch up and took my hand in his much larger one.

"Do you want to go get something hot to drink?" Roman asked looking around.

I nodded barely containing my excitement.

"I would really like that."

We walked into a little shop and were told to choose which ever seat we wanted.

As we walked to the window seat of my choice some teenage boys passed us.

Their eyes dropped down to my ass in appreciation and one of them let out a low whistle.

I grinned turning to admire my own butt pleased and filled with pride.

Damn right.

Roman let out a low growl and glanced at me.

"Those guys were checking you out! Aren't you going to say something?!"

I shrugged and shook my head.

"If I passed by myself I'd be checking out my booty too."

Roman slapped a hand over his eyes and sighed heavily.

"So you're just going to let everyone stare at your ass?"

I nodded smoothly and sat down.

"Don't see why not, I am fiiine."

Roman rolled his eyes and grabbed the small menu looking down.

I smiled placing my head on my chin.

"Are you jealous Roman?"

His head snapped up sharply.

"Of course I am! How would you feel if a bunch of girls were checking out my butt?!"

I smiled coyly.

"I would simply make sure everyone knew you were mine silly."

Roman heaved a long sigh and grabbed my hand warmly.

My heart skipped a beat at the gesture and the kindness in his eyes.

"Sometimes I forget how unlike most girls you are."

I tilted my head to the side.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I tried to sound neutral, but on the inside I was panicking a little.

"A good thing, I like you the way you are."

A blush came to my cheeks and I nodded weakly.

Roman smirked.

"Is that all it takes to woo you Sora?"

I scoffed and tried to act like his words didn't make me fall even more in love with him.

"Oh please, this coming from the guy who panics anytime I try to simply kiss him?"

Roman's eyes darkened.
