"I ordered a pizza."

I sniffed and jumped onto the table.

"Yum."

It had been almost a week since Reagan heard the news, he was slowly getting back to normal.

But that didn't stop his screams at night from his terrible nightmares.

"Reagan time to eat!" Roman shouted grabbing plates.

"Just a Minute!"

Twenty minutes later Reagan came in.

"Sorry, I had to finish my level."

Roman bit back his annoyance and handed Reagan a slice of pizza.

"So..." Rowan trailed off, Pizza pointed at the sky as he thought.

Reagan ate slowly, pausing to yawn and lay his head on the table.

"Mmm sleepy." He mumbled.

I walked over and gave his head a kitty kiss.

"Sleep, little nerd."

Rowan stood and smirked at Roman.

"Dibs on Sora tonight."

Roman sputtered.

"No fair!"

I flicked my tail around and jumped off the table.

"Hmm, I can't choose, a fight to the death will suffice."

Carrots squawked loudly.

"You've turned into a spoiled brat!"

I scoffed.

"Listen, buddy, I've suffered, so I'm only taking the proper course."

He cocked his head to the side.

"What?"

I shrugged. "Yeah I've got no clue what I said either."

Roman sighed. "I'll put Reagan to bed, you get Sora for tonight."

I looked up at him.

"That's all? What about the fight? Am I not worth-"

Rowan picked me up.

"Come on Sora."

I allowed him to carry me to his room and set me on his bed.

I watched him pull off his shirt before looking away and he climbed into some shorts to sleep in.

He laid beside me and gazed up at the ceiling.

"The other day I found a wallet by the door. It had a driver's license belonging to a girl named Sora."

I stilled and looked up at him.

"What about it? You can't question me, I'm still a cat."

Rowan sighed a dreamy smile on his face.

"She was beautiful, I felt like... I felt like I knew her somehow. Those eyes... her red hair... she was like a princess from a fairy tale."

I sighed dreamily.

"Please continue."

"I thought maybe I could find her and return the wallet but... she's still missing. I wish I could meet her, even if I have no idea what she's like."

I stomped up his body and licked his cheek.

"Marry me Rowan."

He laughed and stroked my head.

"We should probably get some sleep huh?"

"Yeah..."

I curled beside him and felt a tingling sensation in my body.

Oh shit! Not now!

Just like that, I was human.

Rowan stilled and turned over.

His jaw dropped taking in every detail of my naked body.

"Oh... um, fuuuck,"

I jumped back pulling the blanket around me.

"I can explain!"

Rowan frowned and looked around.

"Wait where's Sora- oh my god..."

We stared at each other for a few minutes.

"You-you're my cat? Sora?"

I nodded slowly.

"Yeah, I um, got turned into a cat."

Rowan looked at me with wide eyes.

"Your that girl, aren't you, your Sora."

I nodded again.

"Thank you so much for taking me in, I know it was selfish, but I had nowhere else to go."

Rowan swallowed and gazed at my body again.

"You know us quite well then."

I bowed my head.

"Yes."

Rowan came closer and pulled my body to his naked chest.

"I always thought it was funny, how our cat seemed more human than animal. Now I understand."

He tilted my chin up and smiled.

"Hello Sora, I'm Rowan, it's nice to meet you."

I laughed and shook his hand.

"Hello Rowan."

Rowan leaned down and gazed at my lips.

"Would it be too soon, to ask for a kiss?"
