Sora's pov
"So then in was thinking we could have the shots over here, am I making sense so far?"
Whiskey let out a squeak and nodded scribbling notes in his notebook.
"Right, so all you'll have to do is make the drinks, can you handle it?"
Whiskey waved a paw and I wondered why I had doubted him.
Whiskey was an expert with liquor, there was no room to question the hamster.
"What are you up too?" I turned and smiled brightly at Roman.
"Whiskey volunteered to help tonight."
Roman raised an eyebrow.
"You intend to have Whiskey as the bartender?"
Whiskey and I stared at Roman. I leaned over to Whiskey and nodded.
"Show him what you can do."
Roman watched astonished as Whiskey mixed things together quickly and pushed a glass over to him.
Roman hesitantly held it up and took a small sip. His eyes went wide. "This is really good!"
Whiskey nodded and leaned on a bottle of vodka proudly.
"Where did you learn to do this?" Roman asked staring at his glass astonished.
Whiskey sighed and glanced at his paws before looking up at Roman. I translated it as,
'Oh, the stories I could tell.'
But hey, Roman could think whatever he wanted.
Rowan rushed outside and didn't even blink at seeing Whiskey in an apron.
"Guests are arriving."
Roman pointed at Whiskey.
"You aren't going to question this?!"
Rowan blinked.
"No... should I?"
Roman slapped a hand over his face.
"Never mind, I'll go great everyone, Sora, try not to get into too much trouble."
I watched Roman go inside and turned to Rowan inhaling deeply.
"Have you see Reagan or Carrots anywhere?"
Rowan nodded.
"Reagan is sleeping, and Carrots is watching him until he wakes up. Said he saw it in a movie or something."
My eyes softened.
"That's sweet." I looked around the light filled yard. "I hope things go well, I can't wait to meet your friends."
Rowan rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah, we'll see how many of them are still people I can call friends."
Rowan suddenly gasped. "Hey, I'm going to go say hi to someone, I'll be back." Rowan waited for me to nod before rushing forward and shaking someone's hand.
I rubbed my arms as the yard quickly filled with different people. I sat down next to the pool and dipped my feet into the water.
The sound of cute laughter made my head pop up, and a white haired girl clutching a book caught my eye.
Aww, she is way cuter in person!
The girl caught me staring, and without thinking, I winked.
She flushed and patted down her dress anxiously. The girl peeked over at me, and I waved her over.
The girls eyes lit up, and she rushed through the crowd.
"H-hi!" The girl exclaimed bowing her head to me. I laughed and patted the spot next to me.
"Hi," I said back amused and looked at the water. "Your name is Snow right?"
Snow nodded clutching her chest.
"Yes! I'm sorry, I just feel like I'm meeting a celebrity right now!"
I burst out laughing and smiled.
She's shaking, she really must be nervous.
"Thank you very much Snow, I'm happy you're so glad to meet me." I told her wiggling my toes in the water.
"You are way more gorgeous in person Sora." Snow blurted.
I looked at her surprised.
"Oh, thanks! You're very pretty as well, I love your hair." I told her touching the long white hair lightly.
Snow winced.
"It's weird, isn't it? My white hair? I look like a ghost."
I shook my head sternly.
"Don't sell yourself short, you're super pretty, don't think other wise."
Snow nodded and held her book tighter.
I glanced at the novel.
"What's that?" I asked pointing at the book.
Snow hesitated. "Oh, well-"
"Snow! Are you bothering people?!" Snow flinched and looked up.
"Liam I wasn't -"
The man-child sighed.
"Come on, you should go home."
So the brother is an asshole.
"I would like her company a while longer, if that's okay." I said cooly.
Liam blinked and looked me up and down. He let out a low whistle.
Snow covered her eyes in embarrassment.
"Damn, you got a single hot sister or something?"
I smiled. "If I did, she would be out of your league."
Liam flushed, and he noticed Rowan near by. He walked over to my boyfriend.
"Your girlfriend is a bitch."
Rowan smiled dreamily.
"I know, isn't she awesome?"
I laughed and shook my head beyond amused.
Gods, I love you too Rowan.
"Uhm, Sora?"
I turned to Snow.
"Yes?"
Snow hesitated.
"What would you say, if I said impossible things happened to me, like magical stuff."
I gasped, eyes wide.
"I know right? Magical shit just fucking up my life, good grief, I need something strong to drink."
Snow stared at me.
"You too!?"
I nodded and winced.
"Hell yeah, first, I got turned into a cat, it was
nuts."Snow flushed with excitement.
"Guys from my book are appearing in my bedroom!"
I grinned. "Are they hot?
Snow turned pink.
"Y-yes, I guess so."
I laughed. "Snow, I need your number, we're going to be best friends, I can tell."
Snow nodded and laughed.
"I'd love that!"
When I update 'Second Chance Life' next, it will show Snow's perspective. And a little more of course
How would you guys react if you met Sora in real life?
