yellow;
my favorite color
symbolizes
happiness
optimism
sunshine
spring
all the things I want,
but don't have.
but in the back,
in the dark,
lurking in the shadow
of the happy color,
is
cowardice,
betrayal,
and madness.
and this,
I do have.
I strive for things too far to reach
and sink into the shadows;
yellow is a pretty color
until you search a little deeper.
