Part 42

The next time Brett woke up was not long after the sun touched the horizon. It was a long nap it seems. He looked around and saw the fire almost out, so he eased out of Eddy and wandered to the fire to help it fire up a bit.

His look fell on the still sleeping witch. He was too cute - and way too sexy - when he laid completely bare and defenseless on his bed. Yes, Brett liked that a lot.

After drinking some lukewarm tea, he went back and snuggled with Eddy some more.

Eddy was a pretty hard sleeper so he nuzzled back into Brett when snuggles came and even tried to roll on top of the poor Khanzadeh that he enjoyed so much. It wouldn't be any good if he accidentally crushed or suffocated the man though.

Brett could handle that easily. All the abs and muscles were not for show, but practical. He had no problem with the witch being draped over him. Instead, he liked that very much. He tucked them good in the blanket and caressed Eddy's back while he waited for the witch to wake up.

Eddy nestled his face into the side of Brett's neck, deciding it was the warmest place to keep his face. His hot breath ghosted over Brett's jugular as his hair tickled against the shorter's jawline. This was the witch's sleeping happy place.

He did not wake up for another ten minutes, but even when his eyes blinked open he was a dead weight on Brett.

"Well, good morning, love. Or, afternoon. More like evening. But anyway, you slept like the dead."

Brett kissed the top of the head and continued to stroke the witch.

"Good evening," Eddy yawned but lifted his head to look at Brett, a tired smile on his face. Brett was a good view to wake up to, Eddy had to admit, "My sleep schedule is going to be all out of whack now,"

He said a bit playfully.

"Well, yes. Most probably. But it's good that we slept, because there will be a big ass celebration for us when the night begins and we are expected to be there. And it will be held until the sun rises."

Brett stroked Eddy's cheek as he grinned.

"The villagers are desperate to meet you, seeing that you went straight to my house and they didn't see a hair from you. I bet Neha will come in to bring you new clothes and dresses as well so you can look your best."

"Well, it will be lovely to see the rest of the village too," Eddy bumped their foreheads together, he wondered what the celebration would be like. Hopefully it would be one without Brett getting stabbed by some random bandit while trying to show off. That was his takeaway from the first festival slash celebration he had seen.

Brett was surely not getting stabbed tonight. They were surrounded by friends and family and he didn't need to show off to win the heart of his witch. He laid comfortably in his bed. So no need to prove he could defend him.

The Khanzadeh grinned, "Maybe I should get almost killed again for your sake. Hey, it can become a tradition!"

Eddy lifted his hands and put them on Brett's face, squishing them, "Hell no. We are not going through that again or making it tradition."

He kissed Brett on the lips even as he squished his face.

The Khanzadeh sure as heck didn't mind the kisses nor the enthusiastic approach to his proposition. Well, he liked his body intact as well, so that was good to hear. Brett rolled them over and pressed their lips and tongues together before breaking it and grinning down on the witch.
