"Oh my God! You look wild... Is that even you under all that hair?"
"Well, hello to you too my beloved brother!"
"Looking good Halstead!"
"Thanks Sylvie! Wow, seriously great job you all did here, it looks perfect!"
"Doesn't it? I can't wait to see our girl's face!"
"So glad this all worked out, thank you! Did you get the stuff from our apartment?"
"Yeah, but it was a little weird to go through your girlfriend's things!"
"That's why I sent Stella with you, you creep Will!"
"Guys, we don't have much time. They're gonna be here any minute."
"Yeah, I think I can already hear her yelling!"
"Oh man, sure this was such a good idea?"
"I think she's really gonna hate you for this!"
"Shut up Ruz!"
"Dude, she's livid!"
"I can hear that myself!"
"Yeah shut up Casey!"
"I'm gonna go grab her before she punches one of my guys!"
"Yeah, good luck with that!"

After the first panic wave had worn off, Rianne had picked up a real weird vibe from the security guys leading her down strange corridors. She didn't really believe this was standard procedure when one was being accused of smuggling drugs into Chicago. And how on earth could that even be true? Their luggage had to have been checked in Miami already, no? So how come they only got singled out now?
None of her questions were being answered, her phone had been taken away after her first and only allowed call to Jay. The insecurity as to what was going on exactly was starting to wear her down on top of the red-eye hangover catching up to her.
Were these people even real security? They certainly looked the part, name tags and all, but were they really?
And if they weren't, this could either just be a real bad joke or something bigger was going on. Who could be interested in getting her separated from Jay and for what cause exactly?
Thoughts running wild and deciding she had enough of this, when her umpteenth demands to be told where they were taking her wasn't answered, Rianne stopped and refused to go one step further.
They had reached some sort of exit and just as she was about to start her protest tirade, rage as usual acting as her defense mechanism against insecurity as well as heavy heart-pounding, the doors to said exit opened and Jay appeared like phoenix from the ashes. Wicked smile in place.
