The room shimmered with swords, spears and axes. As threatening as it might look to any other Lady on Asgard, Skyler squealed in excitement. "It's all so pretty!" The shopkeeper looked at the two males accompanying the young Lady who was practically running amok through the shop, admiring all the weapons.

Silas and Raymond sent him an awkward smile. "She has a peculiar hobby," said Raymond as a manner of apology. The shopkeeper did not return his smile.

"Keep her in line, boys. I don't want her to get in the way from any real costumers." His gruff voice resounded through the shop and Raymond felt a shiver go over his spine. Not a chance Skyler didn't hear that.

Behind the shopkeeper, a sword unsheathed. "Oh, don't worry, ser. I am very much a real costumer," she cooed, holding a shining blade with beautiful flower engravings in the steel. "I mean, look at this sword! How much is it?"

The shopkeeper grunted. "Unaffordable for you. I don't sell to females." Ah oh.

"What'd you think? Is she going to roast him or freeze him?" Silas mumbled toward him and Raymond snorted at the thought, but then looked back to Skyler. The disappointment was quite evident on her face, though it did not mask her rage.

She spun the sword around in her hands, her eyes focussed on the bald male in front of her. "I'm sorry, I don't think I heard you right, but why the hell would I not be able to buy this sword?" Her bittersweet tone told Raymond no good. She was going to burn this place to the ground, yet he could not find it within himself to stop her. Seeing Skyler in all her passionate fury might have become his favourite pastime.

The shopkeeper was at loss of words, but not necessarily in a positive way. Raymond could see his face get a dark and dangerous shade of red. "Why you – Get out of my shop, young lady!"

"I don't think I will, I want to buy this sword," said Skyler calmly, sheathing the sword. She took her time as she walked to the counter and pulled out her pouch. "Oh, and I'd like a fitting belt with it, please."

"I just said," the shopkeeper gritted out as he stalked toward his Queen, "I do not sell," Raymond put his hand at the hilt of his sword, "to females." He snatched the sword from Skyler's hands and pointed to the door. "Get out! Before I call for the guards, get out, now."

Unmoved, his Queen cocked her head to the left and smiled innocently at the male in front of her. "I don't think the guards are going to do you much good, ser. Now, please kindly change your attitude simply because my gender prefers to wear dresses and give me the sword. Last chance or I will take it without payment."

Raymond released a breath he didn't know he had been holding when he saw the shopkeeper move behind the counter. Perhaps he'd changed his –

"GUARDS!" the shopkeeper began to yell as he pulled out a huge bell and began swinging it. Within seconds, two guards appeared in the shop. Both of them tensed as the noticed Raymond and his brother in the shop.
