Ch 22 Goodbye

All the baby reapers assembled at the quarters. Several of them groaned as their muscles are still sore. They weren't given enough energy coins.
When asked why, the reaper said,
"Ask baby koo" and left them. So they were only half treated. They didn't scold koo. But they groaned and gave exasperated sighs whenever they saw him. Jungkook said sorry to the reapers.
The reaper came and sat down in his chair.
He opened his book and read out a few names.
Jungkook and hobi weren't among the names called out.
The reapers who didn't get called are dismissed. They left one by one.
"Baby koo, you did well. I am lifting your punishment. You don't need to come here every night. Just sleep at the dorms"
Jungkook felt sad. He nodded going back with his reaper friends. The punished baby reapers came back crying. They passed out easily on the beds after taking hugs from all reapers. Some reapers even called the grimm a few choice names.

"What?" Jungkook got up from the bed.
"Yes!! It's not just one. It's three!! We'll have more friends"
"Really?" Jungkook got up from the bed excited.
"Where are they?"
"They are with Master in his quarters. He'll bring them to us" Eunwoo replied.
Jungkook felt a pang of jealousy in his lower pit at the thought of other baby reapers with master in his quarters.
I woke up in the Dorms..
"They are coming!!" Hobi shouted going to door to welcome them. All baby reapers ran to the door and formed two rows of lines.
Jungkook also went and stood at the end.
The baby reapers came with innocent big eyes. They are scared but smiled looking at other baby reapers.
They each have a bunch of balloons in their hands.
He is holding three!!...
Jungkook looked at beomgyu angrily.
"Baby reapers, this is Sunoo, beomgyu and taki"
The baby reapers clapped excitedly. Some even gave them hugs.
They are all sooo pretyyy..
He smiled and went to them shaking hands with each.
"I'm baby koo" he introduced.
"I'm leaving now. Make sure the baby reapers are well accustomed" he said leaving the dorms.
Jungkook put his yeoggi hyung in the attic where he kept shooky before.

The nextday when the reaper left to town, Jungkook sneeked into the quarters. He went to the reaper's office that has all doors.
Jungkook recognised the door he went through.
This is the door to our world. Yeoggi hyung is beyond this..
He didn't know how to open it. There must be a key. He searched around and found a bunch of keys.
Suddenly he heard noise in quarters. It's the reaper, he scrambled into a near by cup board and looked through the thin line of opening.
"M-Master V? I'm scared.."
"Don't be scared hobi. Everything will be fine. Trust master okay?"
"O-Okay" hobi bit his trembling lips. Tears streaking down his cheeks.
"D-Don't I get to say good bye?"
"No hobi, it will make it harder for you to leave and the other baby reapers will be spooked"
Master pulled him infront of a door.
He opened the door with a spell.
So it's a spell that opens these doors...
Hobi took a step back scared of the light.
Master kneeled before him. He sweeped hobi's hair aside and gave a kiss on his forehead.
"Forgive me Hobi for being hard on you" he patted hobi's cheek.
Hobi hugged master V back crying.
"Thank you master for helping me"
The reaper smiled at him.
"Go on move forward he patted him"
"W-What if I can't cross the door"
"You can hobi, I made sure of it"
Hobi nodded looking at the door.
"Good bye Master. Thanks for taking care of us" he waved happily stepping into the door and vanishing.
Jungkook sniffled looking at all of this.
Ohh hobi hyung...goodbye..
He felt happy that hobi hyung is able to move on.
The Grimm closed the door and turned back.
"Reaper what are you doing here?"

Jungkook felt a chill go through his spine.
"Come out and kneel here"
Jungkook went out slowly and knelt at the spot. He is ashamed to look at the reaper. He kept his eyes down.
"You are being far too spoiled" the reaper huffed walking back and forth.
"You became so used to me not punishing you that you lie to my face and sneek into quarters when I'm away"
Jungkook bit his lip.
"I-Is h-hobi hyung gone??"
"Shut up reaper. I won't be falling into your trap this time" he kicked Jungkook on his bum with his leg.
"Oww" Jungkook fell down crying.
"It's punishment time for you reaper" he lifted a crying Jungkook and took him to the bedroom.
It's not reaper it's baby koo koo..
