Ch17 AfterLife

Jungkook went to the dorms with his eyes full of tears and a heavy heart. It's almost night. He sneaked in and put his scythe and coat back. He could hear cries in the dorm. Baby reapers are crying.
Why?
He ran to the beds and all the reapers are crying in a group on a bed. They were crying surrounding baby hobi.
"What happened?" he asked as he approached them.
"Where were you?"
"I-I'm in the town. I went on a tour" he lied.
"They're gone! A-All of them just gone.." eunwoo cried hugging hobi hyung.
"Who are..."
Something's not right. Where is baby jin?
He looked at them. They were only a few.
"What happened to the reapers?" he widened his eyes.
"A-afterlife.." Hobi sobbed. Everyone cried loud. They were all scared and hugging each other.
He couldn't find jimin and bam bam too.
"B-But the Grimm said w-we couldn't move on" tears started welling in his eyes slowly.
"No no baby Koo, we are not strong enough but we have to move on. The Grimm will make sure of it"
The Grimm sent them to afterlife..
They moved on..
Jungkook ran to the Grimm's quarters. He barged into his bed room.
"Baby Koo Koo, I've been waiting for you-" he stopped looking at Jungkook's tear stained face.
"What did you do to them? Baby Jin, bam bam and jimin?"
The Grimm's face hardened.
"Their training is over. They moved on to afterlife" he told seriously.
"W-what is afterlife? Why must they go? Can't they...can't they stay here??"
"Didn't the baby reapers tell you? close the door and come here"
Tell me what??
Jungkook did as told.
The reaper made Jungkook sit on the bed.
"All baby reapers must move on. You are people who lack the proper energy or courage to move on. All this reaper training is to help you cultivate it. You can't stay here or you'll lose your soul. You can only stay here for a few weeks without damaging your soul. You have to move on when your time has come or your soul will be discarded"
"What do you mean discarded?"
"Baby reapers who still can't move on after training will be castaway into darkness"
Jungkook looked at him in horror.
"What? Where did jin, jimin and bam bam go? Did they make it?"
The Grimm looked at him blankly.
"Noo, you have to tell me..you can't send them to darkness..what did you do to them?" Jungkook screamed catching his collar.
The Grimm didn't budge. Jungkook screamed at him and beat him using his little fists.
"Noo..no" he sobbed falling down into the Grimm's lap.
The Grimm pulled him close hugging him. Jungkook hugged back as he fully burst into cries.
"Not the darkness...they are innocent..they didn't do anything.." he sobbed into the reaper's chest. Jungkook cried himself to sleep as the grimm secured him in his arms. He lightly patted Jungkook on the head. He took the blanket and put it around Jungkook.
"There is no other way little one" he whispered as Jungkook slept tired.

Jungkook woke up in the middle of the night and started crying. He had a bad dream about darkness.
"T-The d-darkness..." he hicupped as the reaper pulled him into his chest patting on his back.
"Jungkook, Shh..it's okay, you are not in darkness" the reaper consoled him.
Jungkook wiped his eyes.
"Reaper sir? W-Will you let m-me see my brother before I g-go?"
"That's not happenning Jungkook" the Grimm replied.
Jungkook looked up at him with tears in his eyes. They rolled off his puffed up cheeks.
"P-Please..I-I know he is alive. H-He is in the hospital..P-Please let me see him..j-just once" he put his hands together infront pleading.
The Grimm looked at his hands and contemplated before giving a small smile. He cupped Jungkook's cheek wiping the tears away.
"Just once baby koo"
Jungkook hugged him back tightly.
"T-Thank you" he slept hugging him like a koala bear.
"You didn't come here last night" the Grimm wondered.
"I-I slept at the dorms. I felt tired after the trip" Jungkook uttered yawning.
"You smell funny"
"Wha- I smell fine" he smelled himself.
"Where are you this morning baby koo koo?"
"I went in to town to explore"
"Hmm that could be the reason. Some spirit must have come close to you. Be careful koo koo" he patted Jungkook's back gently. Jungkook slept throwing his leg on top of the Grimm.
