Epilogue

1000 years later...

Jungkook hasn't spoken to anyone. He hasn't taken up any reaping duties. His heart still couldn't bear seeing someone die.
He is given a small house in the town. He grew a garden full of pretty flowers. He would sell them around the town once a month. Only a few bought his flowers.
But it didn't discourage Jungkook. He spends  his time in garden silently planting flowers and taking care of them.
The Grimm brought him various seeds from the human world whenever he could.
He visits him everyday, tries to cheer him up.
He pulls him into his lap when Jungkok starts crying. He rubs his back soothing his sadness and slipping in some energy.
Jungkook didn't imagine grief and guilt to be this deadly. It consumed him completely.
He trusted shooky soo much but it is only after his brother. He beat himself over and over everyday.
Why did I take the cookie to the dorms?
If only I met him after I saved my brother...
Tears left his eyes involuntarily.
Now everything is lost. His brother is just gone.
"Baby Koo koo?"
Jungkook looked up from the rock he is sitting on.
"See I got you a cake from Chef Suga"
"Your favorite strawberry flavor" he put the pack beside Jungkook and opened it.
He gave it to Jungkook to eat.
Jungkook hasn't eaten anything for over hundreds of years. He doesn't need food just energy.
Jungkook took a bite full. He started crying immediately. He threw the cake aside.
The Grimm patted him on the head.
"Come here" he pulled Jungkook into his lap.
"Shh" he patted and rubbed his back.
He told about a scary story of a ghost. Jungkook listened to it in awe. He yawned and fell asleep on the reaper's thigh.

"Who is this?"
"He he he shh"
"Must be a reaper"
"He is cute. Puffy cheeks and rosy lips" hands touched his face.
"Let's wake him up" he heard giggles.
Suddenly his hair is pulled startling Jungkook to wake.
He moved back looking at the little people in gray robes.
These are baby reapers..
Mr Grimm nowhere to be found.
"Hi, my name is niki and this is jay"
"We are baby reapers"
Jungkook looked at them in surprise.
"Who are you?"
Jungkook relaxed smiling at them.
"And why is master coming to see you everyday?
Jungkook looked at the adorable baby reapers in their little robes. It reminded him of when he is one.
"Don't you talk?"
Jungkook nodded ruffling their heads.
"Ohh no I'm sorry"
Jungkook plucked some flowers and gave a bunch to each.
"Thank you handsome stranger" niki hugged him and gave him a kiss. Jungkook looked at them surprised. The feeling felt familiar. Jay did the same.
"Don't tell master we came here looking for you" they giggled.
"Let's go back before he finds out"
"Okay, goodbye stranger" the reapers laughed running away hand in hand.
Jungkook tried to remember when he was a baby reaper. He had soo much fun. He remembered hobi being scared and bam bam playing with him. Jimin and Jin taking care of him. Most importantly the Grimm. He remembered crushing over the Grimm and his pretty face.
With Jungkook not bothering, the Grimm went back to wearing his veil all the time.
The next day he waited for the Grimm to arrive.
"Jungkook, what did you do today?" The Grimm gave him a kiss on the temple.
"Planted the red tulips I got you?"
Jungkook nodded as he took him to show him the bed where he put a small label saying red tulips.
"It's hard for the plants to grow here. Let me know if they didn't sprout. I'll bring more seeds"
Jungkook nodded clasping his hand.
"Hey, did anyone come here yesterday? Some baby reapers are sneaking around"
Jungkook looked at him silently.
"I have to find them and punish them. They do not fear me these days" Jungkook smiled shaking his head no.
"Okay, I'll ask the guards if they have seen them around" he mused taking Jungkook inside the house.
"No crying today?" Taehyung asked gently pulling him into his lap. He wants to secretly rub in energy into Jungkook.
Jungkook smiled shaking his head no.
Taehyung looked at him surprised.
"Okay...Very good Jungkook" he patted on Jungkook's back.
Jungkook hugged him tightly.
"It's baby koo koo" he whispered making Taehyung gasp in shock.
"And take off your veil" he whispered again.
Taehyung chuckled hugging him tight.
"Thought you'd never ask" he uttered making his veil disappear. Jungkook looked up and traced the cheekbone.
"Pretty" he spoke out.
