Ch6 An Everyday

The reapers assembled in a big hall in the quarters for training.
"You will practice sparring and how to wield the scythe all day today. Reapers who already know have to practice too. It will brush up your basics" he said clapping his hand.
"You will practice swinging with a scythe on your own and upon the clap you put down your scythe and spar with your immediate next reaper. Choose and alternate for each clap. Now start!!" the reaper shouted in  his deep voice.
Jungkook didn't know how to wield the scythe, so he looked around and found Hobi. He tried to spar with Hobi but he couldn't really hit Hobi hyung when he found the chance. Hobi is kind to him too because he is new. He hoped the reaper wouldn't see them.
The reaper casually walked past the other reapers and stood near them.
"What in the hell is this funny dance?"
Both of them stopped fighting, hanging their heads low.
"Baby Hobi?"
Hobi started shaking beside Jungkook.
"I-I..I d-on..I.."
"S-Sir Reaper, I d-don't know how to do it...cuz it's m-my firs time" Jungkook replied.
"Hobi practice with others. Jungkook follow me"
Jungkook followed him to an empty space.
"Spar with me" the reaper said taking off his robe. He wore a silky black shirt. His body is lean and lithe.
Jungkook looked at him with wide eyes.
Jungkook just stood there. The reaper circled him and Jungkook shivered remembering the punishment. The reaper attacked him catching his neck and twisting his hand.
"Ahh!" Jungkook shouted in pain. He pushed Jungkook down onto the floor.
"You are very bad..what is it the other reapers call you?..baby koo...is it?" he made a small whistle pitying him.
"Want to get punished again?" he bent down and whispered in Jungkook's ear. Jungkook trembled, his eyes becoming watery.
"N-No..p-please" he looked up into the reaper's hollow face with trembling lips. He felt like crying right there and then. He remembered how heartless the reaper is. The reaper ruffled his hair chuckling and pulled him onto his feet.
"You have to be steady on your feet, okay? Put your feet at least two feet apart like this" he adjusted Jungkook's stance.
"Now swing your arm"
Jungkook did as told.
"Keep the tension here loose.." he touched along Jungkook's arm muscles "and pack all the weight into the part you're gonna hit the ghost with", he enclosed Jungkook's fist.
Jungkook nodded, doing as told.
"Again"
"Again"
"Now swing at me"
Jungkook swung and hit him square in the jaw. He gasped loudly.
"That's okay baby koo koo. Feel the hit, Again"

It's not koo koo..it's just koo.

Jungkook hit again. He felt good beating the reaper.
"Good, you have to practice your motion too..don't force your moves...find a natural way to move.." and so on it went.
Jungkook thought the reaper would crush him with his skills and fighting techniques, but he helped him learn a lot. Jungkook liked the training. He felt like he worked hard today.
He never really gave any thought to reaping..but he can see reason in the practice.
"Hiya....hooo..." he scared the baby reapers with his fighting stances at the entrance of dorms.
Bam bam joined him and they both scared the reapers in dorms and giggled. Jimin is a poor victim to their shenanigans.
"I will tell Jinnie hyung!!" he ran away scared.
Jungkook ran after him and apologized.
He hugged Jimin and offered to sleep with him.
"You are bad but cute bad" he said hugging him back.
Later that night, Jungkook woke Jimin up from sleep to talk with him because he is bored.
"Baby Jimin I know your secret"
"Wha- what secret?"
"I see you sneaking out of dorms at night. It's Yoongi hyung isn't it?" he said raising his eyebrows.
"Shhh!!!" Jimin shut his mouth, "please don't tell Master V.." he looked worried.
"I won't Jiminie..I promise" he gave a pinky promise by looping Jimin's little little finger.
"But I'm curious. What are you planning to do next?"
"Huh? I-I worry about that too Baby Koo. I am a baby reaper but Yoongi hyung is a full reaper. But Master gets to decide what happens to me"
"It's easy..Why don't you ask the Grimm to make you a full reaper?"
Jimin gasped looking at him.
"I wish it's that easy but I'm scared of Master V" Jimin hugged Jungkook.
"I think you can just ask and see. He doesn't seem that bad..who knows may be he will make you reaper right away"
"Really?"
Jungkook nodded smiling.
"Thank you Kookie. I will give it a try tomorrow"
