Arriving at the party the music could be heard from outside on full blast, the drive way filled with cars, people outside the front lawn. Entering the house the smell was mixed between alcohol, weed, and sweat. You could feel the heat instantly making you begin to feel hot and sweaty.
The dance floor was in the middle of the living room, teens dancing and grinding on each other. While others were standing against the wall talking and others were outside in the backyard. There were lights flashing the whole house, the kitchen counter top filled with so many different kinds of alcohol.
Millie wore a tight cheetah print dress, her hair was up in a ponytail leaving two strands of hair framing her doll face. She walked in with Ayla and Sadie by her side, Sadie immediately tugging both of their hands leading them to the kitchen.
The redhead grabbed three red solo cups filling each one with some type of liquor before handing it to each of them. Raising the cups, clinking them before chugging the liquor down letting it burn down their throats.
Caleb then appeared next to Sadie, which she handed him a drink, wrapping his arm around her. Millie refilled her cup again, she looked up seeing a couple in front of her. She couldn't help but feel jealousy. Will she ever fall in love? Will she ever find her person, the one she'll be with for the rest of her life?
She tore her eyes away from the couple, leaving a sour taste in her mouth, bringing the cup to her lips taking another sip from it. She noticed Ayla walking away going to Jack who was a few feet away from the kitchen. To her right were Sadie and Caleb, she couldn't help but feel excluded and lonely even though she was in a crowded room.
So she walked towards the dance floor, which was just a big empty space that everyone joined to dance. Pushing through people she made it to the middle and began dancing. She wanted to push all her worries to the side and feel normal for the night.
So she began moving her hips, dancing to the music, letting a smile appear on her face as she danced with strangers. She would dance against people and take pictures with them as if they weren't strangers. She continued dancing, moving to the music, trying for once to not worry about her problems. Just for the night she decided to not worry about anything, to feel normal.
On the other side stood Finn, he was leaning against the wall with a red solo cup in his hand while the other one was interlaced with Grace. He looked at the dance floor spotting a certain brunette who never fails to make his heart skip a beat.
She had her arms in the air, swaying her hips in a taunting way, letting herself move to the beat of the music, a smile on her face with her eyes closed. Anyone looking at her would think she was having fun but it was all pretend.
"Finn" said Grace making him advert his gaze to the blonde next to him, he hummed in response. "were you even listening to me?" she asked annoyed.
"sorry what were you saying?" he asked looking at her blue ocean eyes, something he's not use to seeing, since he's always thinking about someone's honey brown eyes.
"What were you thinking about?" she asked changing the topic. She looked at him waiting for his response but instead just got a shrug "nothing" he said.
she decided to let it go and looked to were he was looking at before, the dance floor. There she spotted Millie dancing definitely catching the attention of guys especially with the dress she was wearing and how flawless she looked in the dance floor.
A bitter scowl took over her face, feeling envious and jealous towards the brunette. She hated the fact that Millie was able to catch Finn's attention anywhere at anytime. It didn't matter where she was it was like she lived in his mind all day, she hated it.
