Kaida's heart was in her mouth as her eyes widened at the lit screen of her cell phone showing the text message from Bakugou. She read it again, still mind-boggled that the universe seemed to be torturing her with coincidence.

I better not still be fucking dreaming.

She'd suffered through enough torment from the saucy dream she'd had on the way to Todoroki's—the pornographic images of them, essentially, tag-teaming the hell out of Bakugou in a flurry of lewd situations still played behind her eyes, repeating her dream's highlights—and after lying to the two-toned hero and saying she'd had a nightmare, only to come home, try to take care of her subconsciously forced arousal all on her own, to realize it wasn't good enough and have to fight with herself about texting Bakugou because her internal monologue wouldn't shut the fuck up about seeing him, to then suddenly get a text from the man himself, right in the middle of her conundrum, was too good to be true.

She pinched herself repeatedly to make sure this was, in fact, reality. She even tested her quirk to make sure it was working properly, materializing a pillow from her bed into her arms, hugging it as she flopped onto the couch with a sigh, still staring at her screen.

Seems real enough.

With a sigh, she read the message again.

-BakuBomb💣-
*Oi, spooky, I know you're sleeping or whatever, or you should be, but don't blow me off tomorrow.*

-Say something, pleeeeease-

God, I don't-gahhhh!

This feeling was complete torture, this knowledge of realizing her jealousy from earlier and then having some kind of weird breakthrough in her dreams that made her understand that she felt some type of way for him. She couldn't identify if it was just from the dream itself or if it were truly real, but the more she had paced back and forth in her living room, still wet from her shower and only wrapped in her bathrobe, thinking about her earlier feelings mixed with the ones she was feeling now, the more she realized her subconscious was probably hinting to, at least, something real.

Sexual desire, yes. I'll admit that. But what the fuck am I supposed to do about it? I'm...tethered elsewhere.

-Not REALLY, you said, how many times tonight, that Todoroki wasn't your boyfriend?-

But Bakugou is...busy.

-Yui and Yaoyurozu ain't got nothin' on youuuu-

Oh my god, I didn't just think that.

She threw herself against the backrest of the couch, head leaned back over the cushion, and let out a frustrated groan. She mulled over her predicament for a few moments, thoughts racing, before she finally sat back up with a huff, unsure of what the hell she was doing, but doing it anyway.

-Spooky-
*Hey, not sleeping, unfortunately. But I won't blow you off.*

-BakuBomb💣-
*Why you still up, dumbass? And you better fuckin not.*

Feeling stupidly giddy at his immediate response, she pulled the pillow harder against her, curling around it as she snuggled further back into the couch cushions, staring at her phone like an idiot with a ridiculous grin on her face as she pulled her knees up against the pillow and under her chin.
