Yui read the messages over Bakugou's shoulder, with his permission, of course,—the more she knew, the easier she could decipher everything between them and assist him in the meantime—and she gave her own suggestion as to how he should respond.

"Pff, I'm not saying that," the blond retorted, skeptically.

"Why not? You've flirted with her before right? And it's not even flirting anyway, it's more leaning towards a flirt. Plus, combining that with the mention of your pretend love-to-be will be confusing in the right way," she wiggled her eyebrows at him and readjusted her legs beneath her on the couch. "What you have to understand about Lil is that, even though she's hella smart, she's a bit dense sometimes. And not only that, but she's competitive as all hell, as I'm sure you've seen. That wording would hint at the perfect amount of your interest in her while also offering her a subtle challenge that she'll want to compete against, all without her even realizing it and it'll make her think. Trust me. Especially if she knows we screwed around. Because then, 'why would you be talking about that other girl again if you slept with someone else last night,' ya know? That, plus the winky face, gah, I promise. It's perfect."

God, she talks a lot. But I mean, if she's right, I guess. Whatever, I'm too tired, anyway.

Bakugou sighed to himself and rolled his eyes as he caved and typed out her suggestion.

Both Yui and Bakugou's reaction to Todoroki's message mirrored that of starving tigers—both seeing how obviously he used a pet name and heavily insinuated them spending the night together—ready to kill the first sign of prey. Yui couldn't help herself and attempted to snatch the cell phone right out of his hands, but not quite quick enough, as he extended the hand holding it away from her, keeping her held back by his other arm.
