Upon returning to the hero agency, after having helped Mina and Kirishima all day to make sure Mina could get to Kaida's as fast as possible, Bakugou fiercely trudged down the hall to where Todoroki's office was located and burst through the door with his usual scowl etched deeply into his features. He was attempting to maintain focus on work alone, as to avoid a confrontation, since he knew he'd have a hard time not hitting the two-toned bastard if he so much as breathed a word about his day spent with Kaida.

"What special shit do we need to do?" The ash-blonde barked at the dual-haired male seated at the large wooden desk on the far side of the room, slamming the door behind him.

Todoroki's expression remained cold and distant while he studied the hot-tempered hero's clenched fists shaking at his sides as he waited for Todoroki to answer. He realized quickly that Bakugou's demeanor was somewhat more livid than his everyday irritated manner but that he seemed to be attempting to hide it, which Todoroki knew fully well was completely unlike him. Even though the two had never really been close, Todoroki still considered him a friend and briefly wondered if he should ask what was wrong but thought better of it to not risk having to listen to the blonde yell anymore than he normally did and assumed that Bakugou wouldn't have appreciated it anyway.

After just a few seconds of waiting, Bakugou easily became impatient as his personal feelings outside of work crept back into the forefront of his mind and regained his focus, distracting him from the point of their conversation, reminding him that Todoroki wasn't just a coworker, acquaintance, or even someone he was competing with for a ranking anymore; Bakugou was suspicious that Todoroki was becoming a romantic rival after listening to Mina and Kirishima's theories all day, and he currently couldn't stand the way the half n half bastard was silently staring at him at the moment.

"Hello? Are you fuckin' deaf or dumb, or what!?" The blonde spat, irritably.

Todoroki let out a small sigh before finally speaking. "I have some information," he began as he rustled through a stack of papers on his desk and motioned for Bakugou to come to sit in one of the chairs across from him. He handed a sheet of paper to the ash-blonde as the hero approached, yet ignored the invitation to sit.

"What is this?" The blonde asked annoyedly while he scanned the crisp paper gripped tightly in his hands.

"The police finally have some leads on our report from the night of the party," Todoroki monotoned as he stood from his own chair. "The attacker we're after has actually been going by an alias but apparently he's been up to a lot more than just attempted kidnapping."

"Tatsuo Gushiken; Alias: Kazan. Petty theft, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, grand theft auto...sexual battery??" Bakugou blurted out incredulously as he read the background report. "How is this fucker not locked up already?" He began to clench his fists again, slightly crumpling the paper in his grasp before attempting to calm himself just enough to relax the muscles in his hands.

Todoroki sighed to himself, wondering the same thing. "I'm not sure," he stated plainly, "But we have a potential home-base location. The only issue is that it's somewhere in the middle of a mountain range located in the Western United States. We don't have a guarantee that he's there, so the government is hesitant to fund any traveling on just a chance."

"Can you not afford it?" Bakugou scoffed.

"If we paid for it ourselves," Todoroki proclaimed, "It would most likely be considered a rogue mission or reimbursement issues could pop up and the Public Safety Commission wouldn't be happy."

"So what the fuck do we do?" The irate blonde demanded.

Todoroki lifted a hand to run it through his two-toned hair as he sat back in his chair and Bakugou followed suit, now completely focused on the workload.
