So, um.. hi

Hi, it's been a while :)

Last time I was here, it was March? Correct me if I am wrong, is it March or February? I don't remember. Anyways I am here, on university break, finally relieved from the number of assignments I have received.

This is not a chapter- in fact, the next chapter is in the works. This is more of a serious author note of how I am feeling about this book.

No, I am not discontinuing it- please don't yell at me. I am just making this book more of a secondary focus rather than a primary focus. I have already consulted with a couple of my friends and they said that this is probably the best approach- especially for something you worked on for a long time.

Now you're probably thinking, "Luna, what do you mean 'secondary focus'? What happened? What made you come back since March and say exactly that." and I'll explain why.

The reason why I decided to make this book move to more of a secondary focus than a primary one is how unsatisfied I am with where the plot goes. Especially all the Alastor scenes. If I were to be honest, things at first were fine but since I have to write more Alastor scenes, it sort of felt half-worked on and draining. 

Also where the story is as a whole- cause keep in mind I started this book in 2018 (sheesh that's a while) and now years later it is at 75-ish chapters? And although I feel like my writing style has improved (wow Luna loving her style- shocking)- the story still felt kind of empty in a way. At first it was normal but as there were more chapters I constantly ask myself, "Ok Luna, what now?"

I still love the book and the characters. In fact, I feel like I grew up with this I still love the number of puns and little moments through the chapters. Just a lot needs work on, which is an improvement, I guess?

I am not sure if that made sense, but that's my honest viewpoint. I tend to not make sense at times.

Don't get me wrong, this book still has a place in my heart. I enjoy writing it. It's just that over time I felt unsatisfied updating it to make you guys happy. And also the Alastor scenes which I need a lot more work on. 

So now that you know my reasons for why I decided to make this book a secondary focus. I would still update it at times, maybe more than others or less, but again- I would need a lot of work on this story.

So if this book is now my secondary focus, what would be my primary focus. Well, I would be focusing more on other books (mainly Darkness Tainted Light from how much is planned in plot, characters and world-building). 

I hope this note made sense to you all, and I hope you understand what this note is about. And I would like to apologise as well for this note.
