Ruggie rushes into the stadium, catching his breath "I did it Leona-San...! Did you see the broadcast?"
"Yeah, you did great Ruggie." Leona-Senpai gives him an approving smirk before monologuing, "Farewell Malleus. This year, I will be taking the throne."
Ruggie chuckles, "Heh heh, long live the king! Shishishishi~"
"Long live the king!!" The rest of the Savanaclaw dorm members cheer as well, that is until the Investigation Team (Riddle, Adeuce, Jack, Grim and I) steps in. "I think I've heard enough."
Ruggie and Leona-senpai turned to us with widened eyes, not expecting our entrance. "Well now, if it isn't Heartslabyul all together. I see that you've also got one of your 1st years with you too." He then turns to Jack, "Did you transfer into Heartslabyul?"
"Right now, I just can't stand being by your side." Jack's neutral expression formed into a glare. "You damn traitor." Leona-senpai grits his teeth, displeased.
I felt a shiver down my spine just from watching them glare at each other.
"Your act tarnishes one of our traditions. As Heartslabyul's Dorm Leader that values strictness, I cannot turn a blind eye." Riddle stated in a harsh, serious tone.
"Hey you little brats. Could you save the 'Hero of Justice' act for your fantasies?" Leona places a hand on his head, probably tired of us.
"Coming to our territory with such a small group of people. Hehe, you must be out of your minds!" Ruggie grins. One of the Savanaclaw students step up, "Should we teach them a lesson, Leona-San?"
"Hmph. Go have some fun." He chuckles in amusement. A mob of Savanaclaws prepare their magical pens and so do we. Varying streams of magic fly all over the place and with one final strike, Riddle activates his unique magic "Off with your Head!!!"
Collars appear around the students who were fighting us. "Gah! Ugh...He's strong..." One of them groans as the collar clicks around his neck. "Dorm Leaders are no joke..." Another mutters.
Riddle scoffs, "All bark and no bite." He then turns to the three of us, "Ace, Deuce, can you still continue on?"
Adeuce nodded, "Good to go!" "Of course!"
Leona clicked his tongue, "Tch...These guys don't stand a chance against Riddle."
"Shishishishi~! Even if you beat us, it's already too late for you to help Diasomnia!" Said Ruggie with that shit-eating grin of his.
"Ho hoh? What a fascinating conversation." The grin on Ruggie's face faded, finding Lilia-Senpai in front of us, all a-okay. "Who is to late?" The tall student with mint-green hair glared at the Savanaclaw students. "As you can see, us Diasomnia players are safe and sound. Thanks to them." The silver-hair student glances at us.
"Eh!? How!?" Ruggie's eyes widened in shock, "You guys should've been swallowed by the crowd...!"
"Too bad~! Those were a bunch of my clones in disguise, thanks to my unique magic 'Split Card'" Cater chimed in. "Come again?" Leona said, taken aback.
"I've always wanted to try on the Diasomnia uniforms. I guess I got pretty lucky. I'll upload it to magicame~" Cater takes out his phone, doing as he said. "Dear me, if that was the case I would've lent mine anytime." said Lilia-senpai. Cater chuckled awkwardly, "Lilia-chan, your uniform might not fit me..."
"How are you guys so casual?" I slightly sweatdrop, hearing their conversation.
"Hey, what's going on?" Leona-senpai demanded, not understanding what they were talking about. "We've heard about your nefarious plan from Riddle, so we decided to put on a little performance for you." Lilia-senpai stated, ever so calmly.
Ruggie comes to a realization, "Th-Then Malleus is...!?"
"Naturally, he is safe! And he safely guided the panicked crowd to the coliseum using magic. You better be grateful!" The one with mint-green haired answered in an overbearing way. "I-Is that even allowed!?" Ruggie exclaimed, still in disbelief.
'Knowing how proud he looked just a few minutes ago, seeing him in panic and shock kinda makes me wanna laugh. But I'm not that kind of person so I won't do that.'
After a moment of silence, Leona-senpai finally speaks.
"Ah, whatever...."
"Eh...?"
"I give up."
"Um...WHAT!?!?" I feel someone cover my mouth from exclaiming any further.
"Oi Azuma...!" Deuce hisses, ushering me to shut up but I can tell he (and everyone else) had the same reaction by the look of his eyes.
"Wai—Leona-san...What are you saying?" Ruggie asks in disbelief.
"Idiot. If Malleus is gonna play in perfect condition, we have no chance of winning. There's no point of playing. I'm dropping out." Leona said with an exasperated sigh.
"N-No way...!" Ruggie tries to talk Leona-senpai out of it, but he's seemed so serious about giving up.
I take a deep breath, "Okay what the fuck and why are ya'll not saying anything!?" I whisper-yell towards the Investigation Team.
"Well, it's not our problem now..." Ace said, in a manner-of-factly tone.
"But...don't you think this is kind of anti-climatic?" Grim asks, feeling a bit unsatisfied.
The other Savanaclaw members got roped into Ruggie's and Leona-Senpai's argument. "Ugh, pain in the ass. Shut up you imbeciles!" Leona exclaimed, startling all of us.
