"Azuma...Are you sure the plan will work? I'm sca-I mean worried, y'know." Grim asked, still denying that he is scared. "It'll be fine...I think." I reply, nervously because I came up with this plan on the spot and second of all, I don't know if we're gonna survive.

"C'mon now...don't be a coward, Grim. We're gonna get expelled if you don't head on in." Ace said. Grim grumbles something I can't hear but he goes inside. "Hey! Monster! O-O-Over here!"

"Grrr....LEAVEEEE!!!!" The monster's roar echoes throughout he mine. "Gyah! It's here!" Grim cried out. 'Naisu...My turn!' I get out of my hiding spot and wave my arms, "Hey, hey! Over here!!!"

"Gr...!? Another thief...Won't gib...Mine...MINE!!!" The monster was about to swing an attack that I BARELY missed. "God, this is so scary! Is he far enough!?" I ask as loud as I can. "He's pretty far from the tunnel!" Grim replied.

"NOW!!!"

Ace's magical pen glowed a bright red he summoned his wind, "Let's go, Great Gust!" "And...Great Grim's Special Fire! Fungyaaa!!!!"

"Guyaaaa.....!?!?"

"How's that! I can make Grim's shoddy flames into a inferno!" Ace said proudly. "It's not shoddy! Ugh, every word you say pisses me off!" Grim cried out in frustration. "Not now, guys! DEUCE IT'S YOUR TURN!!!" I call out to him.

Deuce's magical pen glows a similar bright red color as Ace's, "Come forth, cauldron!"

"Guaaah...!?!?!?"
BONK!!!

"It actually worked...!" I let out a sigh of relief. "Look! The monster's flat as a pancake just like Ace earlier!" Grim pointed out with a cheeky grin. "That last part was totally unnecessary! Jeez, today's not my day..." Ace rubs the back of his head in annoyance. "Let's take the magic stone while we still can!" Deuce reminds us of our mission.

《 Dwarf's Mine - Interior 》

We start running around, trying to find the stone that sparkled earlier. "Guys! I found the magic stone!" Deuce exclaimed as he raised it in the air. "Great! Let's get outta here-"

"DON'T TOUCH ITTTTT!!!!"

Unlucky for us, Deuce dropped the stone as the Monster's roars made the mines shake. "Holy shit! He's escaping!?" Ace cried out. "Oi, Deuce! Throw some more stuff onto it!" Grim demanded. "U-Ummmm....Something heavy!?" Deuce casts the spell in a panic. "It's still up!" I cried out. "U-Uh...Come forth! Cauldron! And then, ummmmmm.....cauldron!"

'Are cauldrons the only thing you could think of right now!?'
"Are cauldrons the only thing you can think of!?"

"Hey! I was thinking the same thing, Ace!!!" I said, both surprised and annoyed at the fact I couldn't say it first. "Shut up! I'm panicking, alright!" Deuce growled. Grim spewed out some fire for good measure. "I got the magic stone! Let's get outta here!"

"Itzzzzzz...MINEEEEE!!!"

"Grim! Give it to me!" I cried out as he tosses the stone to me. I take the lead in getting us out of here 'So far so good now all we gotta do is-' "Guwah!"

I...tripped!?!?

"Azuma!!!" The 3 called out as they caught up to me. "FUNGYA!!! The monster's catching up!" Grim cried out. I try to get up but I think I've sprained my ankle (Spoiler alert: No I didn't)

"Ace! Catch!" I toss the stone to him as I struggle to get up.

"Are you kidding me!? You're gonna die!!!" Ace runs back to me but the monster's catching up.

"GROAAAAHHHH!!!!"

'I am gonna die...aren't I? B-But this is just a dream right!? Wait...that spell! Try to remember it Azuma!!!' In a moment of frustration I attempt to cast the spell to the shock of everyone. "A-AZUMA!?!?"

"Guwaaah!?!?"

White fills my vision and everything became a blur after that...

"Come forth! Cauldron!" Deuce casts his 'signature spell' toward the monster. "Come on Azuma. DEUCE! CATCH!" I felt myself being carried by Ace on his back.

'Mission Accomplished...?'

A/N: Signature Spell here isn't the same as the term Signature Spell in EN (aka Unique Magic). Azuma just called it that because Deuce kept using it. Didn't add more to this since I actually like the pacing despite it being short. Naisu is just Azuma's way of saying "Nice"
