"Eh!? You really went to the Dwarfs' Mine to find a magic crystal?" Headmaster says in disbelief. "EH!?" We cried out in shock.

"I mean...I didn't really think that you would be going. Not only that, but you were able with a magic stone as I quietly filled out the paperwork for expulsion." He stated.

"Fungya!? The nerve of this guy...we had to deal with some crazy monster!" Grim looked like he was going to burn all of Headmaster's feathers, which is fair enough. "Monster?" Headmaster looks at us in confusion. "It came out of nowhere! It was super crazy and strong so it was super difficult for us!" Ace said.

"Could you explain it in full detail?" Headmaster asks. We all take turns explaining what happened as we went to the Headmaster's Office.

《 Headmaster's Office 》

"Ohh...So a mysterious monster was living the mines. And you're telling me that the 4 of you worked together to defeat it and bring back a magic crystal?" He says in disbelief.

"I mean...it's not like working together but..." Ace said in denial. "It's like our goals we coincidentally the same..." Deuce stated. "Isn't that the same as working together?" I said, raising a brow. Then the Headmaster suddenly started...crying???

"What the heck! Why's a mature adult crying all of a sudden!?" Grim said, surprised. "In all these years since I've became headmaster...For the day when the students of Night Raven College would go hand in hand, against and defeat it would come...!" Headmaster continued crying.

"Hah!? I did not hold this guy's hands!" Ace denies it even further. "I don't wanna either, it's disgusting! How old even are you, Headmaster!?" Deuce added. "I am currently very touched. I have concluded that you, Azuma Furuto, you have talent of a beast tamer!" Headmaster exclaimed. "Whaaaat!?" Now it was my turn to be surprised.

"Ah right...By the way, Azuma. I've been meaning to ask this earlier but do you ACTUALLY know how to use magic?" Ace asks, changing the topic. "No...?" I replied.

"Then what was the bubble you made!?"
"Bubble?"
"You don't know!?"

I only shrug in confusion. "Hm...Interesting. May you demonstrate?" Headmaster asks. "Um...okay?" I tried recreating what I did but nothing happened...Or so I thought. A bubble around me appeared, it had little sparkles and a white glow.

"Fungya! That's what happened in the mines!" Grim exclaimed. "I see...I see. That's a protection spell. It's a simple spell, but for someone who knows nothing about magic..." Headmaster starts muttering nonsense. "Uh....." I didn't know how to react. Suddenly, the bubble vanishes with a pop.

"This is quite the discovery. Not only being able to tame beasts but to cast a spell without magic, along with making fellow wizards co-operate...perhaps someone like you is necessary in this school! Headmaster exclaimed.

'Headmaster is showering me with a lot of compliments...It's kinda weird.'

He then clears his throat, "Trappola, Spade. Along with resigning your expulsion I shall give you, Azuma, the rights to attend this school as a student!"

"EH!?"

"But Headmaster, doesn't Azuma need special training?" Deuce stated. "He barely knows anything about magic!" Ace added. "What they said!" I cried out.

"There's no need for that since it's simple spell and allowing you to learn from the classes here at Night Raven should give you a basis of magic. For I am graciously kind!" He said with open arms. 'The he goes with his "kindness"...' I groan.

Headmaster raises his pointer finger, "Although on one condition. You are still new to the concept of magic, you might not be able to complete all of your lessons. So Grim, today, you have proved to me that you have enough talent to be a magician. Therefore..."

'Wait. Is Grim gonna be...!'

"I shall allow the 2 of you to enroll together as 1 student." He proclaimed. "Fungya! I...I can finally attend this school too...? Not as a handyman but as a student?" Grim said in disbelief. "Yes, but—you better not make any more ruckus like yesterday! Understand?"

"Fungya...Azuma, I...." Grim looks at me, almost crying. "Congrats Grim...!" I give him a smile. "Fungyaaaaaa!!! I finally did it!" He cheered. "As proof that you are a student of Night Raven College, I shall give this Magic Stone to you, Grim." Headmaster casts a lavender magical stone to appear on Grim's collar.

"Normally, students would be using a Magical Pen with the stone, but I'm sure you won't be able to hold it with those paws of yours. It is custom made. Oh such detailed proof of care! Aren't I gracious?" Headmaster says his signature line with a smile.

Grim then fawns over his magical...collar?

"He's not listening is he..." I sigh. "As you can see Azuma, Grim is not accustomed to human society. I ask you to supervise him well and make sure he doesn't cause any more ruckus!" Headmaster said.

"Aha! That's amazing! You just enrolled into this school and you're already a supervisor?" Ace exclaimed. "Ahaha...sure whatever." I muttered. "Now then, it's getting late so off you go!" Headmaster kicks us out of his office.

《 2-F : Exterior Hallway 》

"Haaah...My stamina's ran out, I don't have any more energy..." Deuce sighed. "Same Deuce, same..." I nodded in agreement. "Good grief..." Ace groans. I fiddle around with the ghost camera, that Headmaster gave me as a gift to 'show me his kindness', trying to use it.

"La lala~! I'm gonna be a student at Night Raven, ya know! I'm gonna leave ya'll in the dust and take the top spot!" Grim sang as he walked(?) ahead of us. "You talk big even though you're a 2-in-1 student with Azuma. Good for you though." Ace said.

"We're gonna be classmates tomorrow, Supervisor, Grim." Deuce said. "S-Supervisor!? I'm clearly younger than you so Azuma's just fine...Deuce-Senpai~!" I said with a teasing grim. "Oi! Even if we're older, we're in the same year!"

I giggle at Deuce's comment before sighing, "I wonder how'll it go...?"

"Just relax Azuma! We're gonna be seein' each other from now on." Ace said in his usual laid-back nature. "That's true...even if we'll hate it. Especially this guy who's in the same dorm as me." Deuce playfully jabs at Ace.

"Thinking about seeing your serious face everyday...No thanks."
"That's my line, Truant-Ace."
"Yeah, yeah...Almost-Expelled-Crybaby-Deuce!"

FLASH!

"Huh?" Ace and Deuce turn to me. "Ah...so that's how you take a photo..." I pretend to play innocent. "Hey! Delete that!" Ace cried out. "Throw that away!" Deuce tried to get the camera from me. "Eh!? But I just started using this!"

"Fungyaaaa...It's late already so could we just stop!" Grim groaned, surprisingly tired at our childishness. "I...I guess you're right..." Deuce suddenly became embarrassed. "Ah well...See ya tomorrow 'Zuma!" Ace and Deuce waved us goodbye before we headed back to our respective dorms.

"We're a weird party don't you think Grim...?" I say with a hum. "I still don't get why you call us party..." He looked at me confused. "I have a Gamer Brain, okay!? So shut up!" I exclaimed as we headed back for a nice sleep...
