I hiss as the nurse placed an ice compress on my ankle, 'No wonder why walking felt like hell earlier...' "I'll check up on you after an hour." I nodded back to him as he leaves.
"I wonder how their holding up..." I ask to no one in particular as I take out Deuce's phone (that I stole with consent). "WAIT SHIT THEY ALREADY STARTED!?!" I exclaim as I watch the broadcast of the tournament.
Damn Leona-senpai showed ZERO Mercy towards my team... but he still hasn't shown his ultimate move, then..."ACE SCORED AKIDWJKFEJK WHAT!?!?" I internally scream. Okay, I'm starting to see why people like watching sports now.
The next round begins and Grim takes the disk then...then...! Static goes into the screen. "Ah-It hit the camera didn't it..." I sigh in disappointment but it was to be expected. "Sorry everyone, we're having technical difficulties! Please stand by!" The sportscaster announced.
"Well that was fun while it lasted..." I say as I shut down the phone. I was only gonna watch the 'demo round' so I won't be watching the rest of the tournament. And there was no one at the Infirmary at the moment so it was quiet...when was the last time I had this peacefulness? As minutes pass by, I feel my eyes flutter asleep.
