Carry on my wayward son blasted through the TV speakers as a new episode of supernatural played. It was pretty early in the morning and sun just barely raised but Dean was up. Ruby quielt hummed to the song and continued to finish the dishes since no one in the new house seems to know how to do them.
About two months after the accident at the balt studio ruby bought a tiny house just outside the reservation. It was big enough for her and Dean. She bought so it would be easier for carlisle and her to see each other and also because she still hasn't patched things up with the pack. She did with Paul and Sam but it was still a little bumpy for the rest.
About a month into the move Leah and Seth quickly followed and ended up moving in with them. It was just after the two phased and they wanted to be some were that wasn't the reservation.
There was a sudden knock on the door that got ruby out of her thoughts and the dog all hyper and started walking back in forth in front of the door. "Dean get the door please!" Ruby shouted to her son who was on the couch watching TV.
"hay carlisle" dean say in a cheerful voice. Ruby peaked her head to the side and watched seth push back her son's puppy so he wouldn't jump on her boyfriend.
"hello beautiful" he said coming up behind ruby and wrapping his arms around her waist. "good morning" she said turning my head to give him a quick kiss.
"hay Seth can you wake Leah up please" ruby said as he was digging in the fridge for the milk. He simply nodded and ran up stairs. Once he was gone ruby turned around in his arms and pressed her lips to his. "didn't know you were coming by this morning" ruby said fixing the collar of his dress shirt.
"Rose wanted me to pick you and Dean up so you guys can get the shopping done" he explained. "as childish as it sounds I don't want to go shopping" ruby chucked and went into the living room where Dean was watching supernatural with the dog. As Leah came down and let out a groan when she saw the TV.
"okay it's either this or Harry Potter, I don't know which one I'm more sick of seeing" Leah said pointing at the TV.
"that's one of the best episodes thank you" dean said standing up then jumped on carlisle's back "and don't forget who cook and cleans for you" ruby added.
"well at least when you move out I don't have to deal with your guys crap" she sighed.
"okay watch the attitude Leah" ruby said getting her bag. "shut up your not mom"
"uh oh" seth whispered and motioned to carlisle to get the mother and son out of the house before two werewolves aperd in the kitchen. "okay! Let's go" carlisle said and pulled at the sleeve of her hoodie and pulled ruby out while Dean was still on his back.
"you guys are still at each others throats." carlisle sighed as they continue to drive down the road. "I've tried Carr, she wants nothing to do with me"
"they hate each others guts" dean said leing over the consal of the car and looked between the couple. "thanks kiddo" ruby said sarcastically. She then did a double take to her son. "get back in your seat buckle your seat belt back up" dean rolled his eyes and slouched back in the backseat.
"you think I made it worse?" he asked glancing at the mother then back on the road. "no. Sure she hates you guys and every other vampire, but I don't think so"
"and with mom and dad always gone it's just all piling up" ruby said Seenking down in the passenger seat.
"but on a more positive but also annoying note" ruby said looking over to the blond. "is Alice making me help with bella's party, you know the one she doesn't want"
"you know how Alice is" he chucked. "Alice making me and rose get some last minute stuff today for the party" she added.
"she trusts you and Rose? " he joked. The mother put her hand over her heart acting offended. "says the 1,000 year old man"
"you wanna walk the rest of the way?" he said continuing the teasing. "um are you forgetting your dating a werewolf? I can literally beat you home in wolf form, your fancy pants Volvo wouldn't stand a chance" he laughed and placed his hand on her's.
"tonight should be interesting" he commented as the three pulled up in the driveway of the house. "most likely"

"guys come on! Let's get this over with" rose rolled her eyes. "aunt Rose!" dean shouted which made a smile aper on Rose's face immediately. The child jumped into the blonde's arms and hugged her.
"well we have get to school to see Bella, it's her birthday" Alice smiled. "remind me again why I need to help with the party?" ruby asked.
"I second that" rose said holding Dean on her hip as he fiddled with her coven necklace.
"is it too late to get hit by another van?" ruby asked and immediately regretted it because carlisle walked in about to leave for work. "don't say that" he said kissing her forehead.
"come on Rose let's get the shopping done" ruby said rolling her eyes and followed the blonde and her son to the garage to get her car.
