"dose anyone know the answer for X?" ruby asked her class. It went silent. "I can hear all the gears in your head turning, I think I can smell smoke" a couple kids laughed. That's one of the reasons everyone loved her. She joked with the kids and acted like mother. She did make them feel stupid or get on to them. She treated them like normal people.

"that man is playing Galaga! He thought we wouldn't notice but we did" Emmett spoke pointing at Mike. The boy didn't noticed being to engrossed in the computer screen.

Ruby's eyes then landed on mike and Tyler. They were both chuckling and playing a game on the computer. "Mikey!" she cheered making him slam his lab top closed and his face turned white. "y-yes ma'am?"

"you got an answer?" she said pointing at the white board. "umm" he looked down at the very little notes he had.
"it's okay mike, just choose to listen instead of jacking around" he nodded and closed the lab top. "sorry miss.C"

"It's fine Mike" she smiled then turned to Emmett who was slightly laughing. "Emmett, your being awfully talkative this morning, you got the answers" she said with a smirk. She leaned on her desk and crossed her arms.

"it's 69 ma'am" he said with a toothy grien. Ruby rolled her eyes. "yes Emmett that's correct" she sighed and erased the board for a new math problem.

It was yet another rainy day. It didn't matter ruby was just glad it was over.
"you got my brother wrapped around your little finger" Eliot chuckled as the walked down the hallway so they could leave.

"what are you going on about now?" ruby sighed. "you and my brother"

"nothing is even official yet" ruby sighed and pushed rhe cold door open. Eliot placed his hand on the mother's shoulder making her stop. "in all seriousness-"

"that's new for you" ruby laughed then immediately stopped when she saw the very rare serious tone to the oldest Cullen's face. "sorry El, continue"

"that's the happiest I've ever seen him" Eliot admit. "I know you guys only know each other for a short while, but in that short while you made him the happiest he's ever been..... Thanks for that"

Ruby smiled and nudges him. "I'm glad I found him and Dean has already seemed to attached himself to Carlisle"

"your still coming over to introduce Dean tonight right?" he asked.

Ruby smiled. "yes I am, he's excited" ruby then sighed and stop in front of her vampire friend. "you know my siblings are questioning where I've been going"

"just tell them the truth" Eliot shrugged. "they aren't exactly pro vampire" she said.

"we'll figure something out.. See ya tonight... Gotta get to the hospital for my shift" Eliot said before walking to his motorcycle that was parked next to Emmett's jeep. Ruby sighed as she cought Bella in her sight. It's been a awhile since they talked out side of school.

"hay Bella" she waved walking to her red truck. Bella slightly smiled. "what's got you all down in the dumps?"

"what do you know about the Cullens?" she suddenly asked. "you hang out with them"

"what do you mean? Is it Edward?" she asked the teenager. "N-no... y-yes-no! Maybe" she stuttered. "well when you get your priorities straight let me know" ruby joked. She was about to leave when she saw a black van moving out of control.

She moved back to Bella trying to move her out of the way as she heard teiers screaming and ice crunching against the pavement. Ruby closed her eyes ready for the empact.
