Mages once ruled the world. Shamans with their Druidic Magic linked with the land. The Wizards controlled the elements in all forms, from fire to lightning. Warlocks could somon creatures from unknown realms while Witches crafted potions and tonics. The most powerful of them all were the Necromancers, for they had the power of all those that came before them at their fingertips. 

The world moved on. Industry took over, and the Magical world of Werewolves, Vampires, Goblins and Dragons were pushed underground. It was here the Necromancers lost their power. With their power came visibility - and that was bad for business. Soon, Mages became the power of an enterprise of the criminal world. Factions rose around these few individuals that held the affinity for Magic, and with the divide came conflict. 

It was into this world, Ian Cale, a Necromancer that somehow survived to adulthood, emerged. Hypocricy, bigotry, subterfuge and ambition meant nothing to him. He wanted to live free, and he was willing to put bodies in the dirt to do it.
