This is a lot harder than I thought... Alvin been the only one I've treated. I may have to look outside of town. And take my chances.

"What's wrong?" Killer sat next to me on the lounge.

"Hmm... Nothing just thinking that's all."

"It's about work, isn't it?"

"Yes, I'll get there. It'll just take time. I still have money."

"Hmm..."

"We'll be fine. If I can't get a job as a vet. I can work as a bartender. Mum did teach me how to mix drinks. Whenever there's a party I'm mixing drinks for everyone."

"I doubt that you'll be going to parties now..." His shoulders drop.

"Probably, I haven't heard from anyone for days now. Messenger has gone quiet. It's okay, I have you two. My brothers still come around. They'll make up for the lack of people."

"Hmmm..."

"Don't want to hang out with girls and go shopping and shit?" Kidd leans against the lounge.

"Yeah, but I can go by myself."

"Isn't that going to be fun..." Kidd turns away.

"I'm not worried about it and neither should you. Dad, Mum, Uncle Shanks and my brothers are fine with you. In time the others will be. Luffy has his way of bringing people together. You'll see."

They sigh, they feel guilty. I lost all my friends, they don't come around.

(Insert Ringtone)

I pick up my phone. "Hmm... Nami calling?" I answer, "hey Nami."

"Hi (Y/N)..." She doesn't sound to happy.

"What's happening?"

"I heard there was a dogfighting ring. Just outside of town. Some dogs need help."

"I'll get on that. Thanks for telling me ~"

"You might want to go today. Be careful," she hangs up.

"What did the ranger want?" Kidd's tail flickers faster.

"She said there's a dogfighting ring."

"A dogfighting ring? Why would she ring you?" Killer looks at me concerned.

"I've gone to rings before. And taken care of the dogs. And rehabilitate them."

"You're not bringing them here!" Killed turns around.

"Where else am I suppose to take them?"

"Not here! This is our home!" Kidd

"Where else am I supposed to take them?"

"Drop them off at one of the other clinics." Killer

"No one else will look after them."

"We don't care!" Kidd

"They're coming here!"

They both start growling, tails flicking side to side.

"They won't be sleeping in our room."

"Not making it any better," Killer

"They won't be here for long," I turn him back to me. Draw long his jaw, "I promise ~" I kiss him.

"Hmmm... Okay."

I'm ripped away from Killer. Kidd pulls me onto his lap. He stares me down.

"I didn't forget you ~" I hold his face and kiss him. He bits my lip.

Hear Killer growl. Is it wrong I enjoy watching them be jealous? Killer grabs my chin and kisses me.

"Hey! She was kissing me!"

"She was kissing me first!"

"Ughhh... What a pain in the ass! No one wants to give any information on the dog fights... Even the people at the rescue are nekos or inumimis. Word gets around pretty quick."

"What did you expect?" Kidd walks in.

"I expected them to palm it off to me. So they don't have to deal with it. Hmm... I could go out, and check out the old place?"

"Not without us you're not." Killer stands beside him.

"I'll be fine. I've done this plenty of times."

My phone starts ringing. "Unknown number?"

"Give it!" Kidd tries to snatch it, I pull away.

"Hello, (Y/N) Silvers talking how can I help you?"

"Ms Silvers... I'm with the rescue operation. We have two male mutts. Since you deal with 'those' types. You can get them."

'Those' types? "Send me the location and details I'll be there as so -" He hangs up on me. "Soon..."

"Who was that?" Killer watches me.

"A guy from the rescue operation. I need to rescue two male dogs." I start getting my stuff ready.

"We're coming with," Kidd crosses his arms.

"I'll be fine, I won't be long." I put my vest in, and place my go pro in its pocket.

"Why do you have a go pro for?" Killer looks at me confused.

"I record the conditions that the animals are in. And record their behaviour. If anything happens it's on camera. For safety reasons."

"Safety reasons?!"

"I need to pack my stuff in the fourby." I take my bag and walk past them.

"You're not going!" Kidd

"I'm going, Kidd."

"No, you're not!"

"Yes, I am Killer."

"What if -"

"I'm going, I'll call you when I get there. And when I'm coming home." I kiss them both," I love you both." I hop in, "equally."

I drive out to the place. "I wonder how this will go..."
