Episode 11

Etienne's pov

"Another day as a Celestian, but with a bigger campus...what's the point?" I muttered under my breath. Having been attending Celestial Elementary since I was 14, I gradually got tired of the school and its culture. I don't have many friends and am simply just here to please my mother dearest, whose main goal in life is to marry all three of her children off to rich families to sustain our realm. 

Arranged marriages are common in our family and it just so happens that my siblings and I are coming of age in a year. Yeah, we're triplets if you didn't already know. Arrangements for our alliance marriages were already starting to be put in place. I really envy those free of financial burdens, not needing to worry about the harm their actions might bring to their kingdom. One of whom is the very princess of this realm.

Clara Evangeline Rose, said to be the most powerful fairy in the cosmos, the only daughter to the King and Queen of the Celestial realm—owners of these Celestial schools. From wealth to large social circles, she's got it all! Not to mention her protective siblings that keep her out of harm's way 24/7. I was never close to anyone in my family and I regret not spending more time with them. Ugh seeing her so happy and carefree just makes my blood boil. What did she even do to deserve all this?! She's the fakest person I've ever met. She is always smiling and pretending to be "helpful'' when all she's trying to do is curry favour with everyone to increase her popularity. Meanwhile, I'm just struggling to get by.

At this point, I was already desperate to get back to my dorm. What's with Celestians and their boring assemblies anyway?

I headed straight to my room the moment I had the chance to. My previous roommate had already left Celestial to assist her parents in running her realm and so I was left alone... just as we started getting close. I was informed that I would be getting another roommate later today and was kinda looking forward to seeing who I would be rooming with for the next 4 years. As I opened the door, I noticed something was amidst. The usually bright and warm feeling of home was clouded in a gloomy aura and every single piece of furniture in the room had a black hue to them. 

Goosebumps formed on my arms as I continued to walk into the eerie room, cold sweat dripping down my spine. As I walked into the living room, a girl in an all-black outfit sat on the couch, spinning a golden drachma as she glanced up at me. Her ice-cold gaze alone was enough to send someone running out the door but I was too tired to think of this girl as a threat once I walked further into the dorm.

"You're my new roommate?"

"No, I'm here to sit on your couch and stare into absolute nothingness."

"Okay... Well I'll be in my room. Oh, I'm Etienne by the way, Etienne Natalie Woods, and you are?"
