A Letter to a Mean Girl

A deadly smirk slithered across the face that belonged to Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz, and his fangs revealed themselves while he wrote the letter, whom he addressed to a Mean Bee. However, the Mean Bee was somebody else instead of Yasmine for a change. And thank goodness for that, Hawk had thought as soon as his friend and fellow ethical vampire Demetri explained to him about it 2 hours ago.

As both Demetri and Hawk had learned through pieces of grapevine gossip, thanks to their fellow peer Aisha Robinson's introducing her to the front wedgie when they were at the lake and spending the summer in Paris, Yasmine learned her lesson on being a better person when her drop in status opened her eyes, helped her become humble and show empathy to the students she used to pick on. Also, as Hawk recalled (from back in his Eli days before he "flipped the script" and became Hawk), Yasmine used to thrive on cyberbullying not only Aisha but also the other students whom Yasmine considered beneath her by posting hateful comments and memes on social media, whereas now, she seemed to have left that childishness behind. Yasmine had realized that being a victim of bullying really wasn't funny at all to the bully when the tables were turned and he or she was the one being picked on and laughed at.

"Are you honestly that naïve that you think this guy loves you? Well, think about it, Princess. He's a year and a half older than you. From his perspective, you are a Mean Bee he's with just for the money, as well as someone who could get him a job in your daddy's company.

"Right now, he is enjoying the $100 meals, and $50 silver chain necklaces. Well, just wait until you are broke. When he finds out, instead of staying by your side and offering his assistance until you find a way to get back on your feet in the financial sense, he will (hopefully) choose to leave you in a heartbeat, as well as move on and find someone else to be with — someone who possibly has lots more money than you do. I look forward to this.

"In time, you will realize what you have lost, my dear — and in this case, not just your popularity. There is the possibility of you also losing your so-called 'friends' as well once they eventually hear what happened to you after piecing together the story from grapevine gossip."

Perfect, Hawk mentally remarked, putting down his pencil and looking over the letter while letting a smirk of satisfaction cross his face when he noticed there weren't any mistakes there, spelling or grammar-wise.

With that, he neatly folded up the letter before slipping it into a white envelope.
