What Terry Silver didn't know was, getting caught in a cheating scandal involving paying off (or bribing) referees could possibly mean being banned for life from any sport besides karate.
Let's just say no legitimate member of any martial arts organization would condone Silver or his unethical cheating behavior in the karate tournaments — let alone the Sekai Taikai (if they ever discovered what he did). And besides having been arrested, he's now without Kenny Payne, Kyler Park, Mitch, and the other students, since they'd showed they were through with his unsportsmanlike conduct via cheating and were done with Cobra Kai for good when they took off their CK shirts and hoodies and threw them at him while leaving in a mass exodus.
(Also, Kyler was possibly thinking something like "I may be a bully, but if there's one thing I draw the line at, it's cheating in sport" in a sense.)
But that would be nothing compared to Silver's reaction when (and if) he learns Kreese has escaped from jail, or Kreese's reaction when he hears through grapevine gossip of Silver's paying off the referee at the 2019 All-Valley Tournament (in order to ensure Cobra Kai won through Tory in the all-girls division while calling it an "insurance policy") and the referee at the tryouts for the Sekai Taikai (by making it so Kenny wasn't disqualified for using the "Silver Bullet" technique on Hawk during their match).
(The former resulted in Tory realizing Silver didn't believe in her wanting to win through fighting fairly, while with the latter, Kenny, Kyler, Mitch and the other Cobras realized the truth about Silver and Cobra Kai as soon as they saw the video of Tory confronting Silver over his bribing the referee at the tournament on the dojo's TV, while also realizing that their so-called 'accomplishments' were nothing but shams.)
And besides drawing the line at physically attacking a woman (since he does have respect for them because of what had happened to his past girlfriend Betsy), bribing a karate tournament referee is something Kreese would be against, as he (possibly) knows he's previously never done something like that in his life.
