Hawk and Demetri approach Stephanie, the former mean popular girl who's now become an outcast, as she sits on the stone bench in front of the koi pond, silently grieving the loss of her popularity.

Standing in front of her, they offer her a piece of jewelry, which they claim will help comfort her during her going through the grieving process. She hesitantly accepts it, and when she does, they secretly exchange excited grins. At last, they think, she's ours now.
They hold the pendant up to her face, and seeing it causes her to freeze in place. Her body slowly starts to relax as the pendant begins to hypnotize her, and and as she more deeply falls into the trance, Demetri and Hawk kneel down, smiling victoriously.
They whisper, "You will belong to us... mind," touching her forehead, "heart," tracing their fingers down along her chest where her heart beats rapidly at their touch, "body," moving behind her and caressing her shoulders and down along her arms. And as if on cue, when they look over at the pendant, its chain comes alive and begins to wrap itself around her body.
Hawk and Demetri smile. "And soul." Once the pendant's chain has completely wrapped itself around her body, her soul, in the form of a small orb, appears from her mouth like Sirius Black's from the Dementor's Kiss (which Hawk and Demetri recall superbly well). It lingers in the air for a moment, pulsating with Stephanie's free will to escape, and it floats over to Hawk and Demetri. They breathe it in, claiming it — and her — for all time..
