Something about Mitch puzzles me. Basically, he'd initially seemed to be fine with calling himself Penis Breath, but eventually grew tired of it and didn't like being called as such by the others (with the exception of Sam and Miguel, who showed they preferred calling him by his given name, which he didn't seem to mind a bit). So, why didn't he do something about it when he got the chance?
Here's what I can see him doing: dropping pounds (such as possibly walking 10,368 steps from Monday to Friday and making sure to rest on both the weekends and if he was under the weather), bettering his craft (meaning karate in this case), quitting the merged dojo of Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do (but only if required as a last resort), moving to a new town and a new school (such as a town with a private school, like Moon mentioned Aisha's parents had done with her some time after the West Valley High fight in the Season 3 premiere Aftermath), or deciding to find better friends (namely, the kind who were open-minded and chose to be nice like Sam and Miguel had been to him).
