I'm in the kitchen trying to find myself breakfast. I'm going through the fridge. "Good morning." Elijah says from the doorway and I turn my head to look at him and I smile. "Hey." I say and Elijah walks further into the room going to look through the cabinets. The back door opens and I turn to see Rebekah. "Listen. I know I'm the only one in this house that actually drinks milk, but would it kill any of you to make sure it's on the grocery list?" I ask "Speaking of, add bleach." Rebekah said as she walks through the kitchen holding gloves. I pull ice cream out of the freezer. "You know, I do hope my siblings were hospitable to you, in my absence." Elijah said "In your absence- - as you like to call it, which is a way-too-polite way of saying that your brother put a dagger in your heart- -" Elijah walks over setting a bowl, a spoon and cereal on the counter. I close the fridge holding a cake.

"I have been attacked by French Quarter vampires." Elijah gets the ice cream from the counter and the cake from my hand putting them back in the fridge. "I've had to live in a house with a secret dungeon full of coffins, and I was nearly murdered by witches who are convinced my baby is Lucifer." Elijah pours the cereal into the bowl and that's when I notice the milk and the orange juice on the counter. "Oh...milk. They've been... fine.... Your siblings are weirdly protective. I know I have you to thank for that." I say "I'm just happy to see that you're in one piece. Back to the murderous witches." Elijah hands me the bowl of cereal. "I have some concerns." Elijah said as he hands me the spoon. "They're evil, and my life is still magically linked to Sophie Deveraux, which is not comforting." I say

"Yes. I think it's time we took care of that little problem." Elijah said "I am all for it." I look back at her to see her dragging a girls body across the kitchen floor. "As soon as they're unlinked, we get to leave this crap town. Who do we have to kill?" Rebekah asked "Probably no one." I look up from watching Rebekah drag the body out the door. "All right. Potentially everyone." Elijah said putting the milk and orange juice in the fridge. I smile taking a bite of my cereal.

I'm in my room when suddenly I feel a prick on my neck. "Ah!" I exclaim in pain. I pull my hand away from my neck I see blood. "What the hell was that?" Rebekah asked when she walked in. "Hell if I know. It felt like I was being stabbed." I say and I get this sudden feeling something bad is going to happen.

I'm sitting in a arm chair when Rebekah walks in the room. "It's time for the demon spawn to snack." Rebekah said "I really wish you wouldn't call her that." I say "I'm sorry. Have you picked another name yet?" She holds out a basket of apples. "Take one. The plantation's lousy with them." I grab an apple from the basket. "How's your neck?" Rebekah asked "I feel fine, which is weird. I'm sure this is Sophie-related." I say "Well, do me a favor and don't die on my watch. I'll never hear the end of it." Rebekah said "You know, when I first met you, I thought you were a real bitch." I say "What changed your mind?" Rebekah asked smiling. "Oh, I still think you're a bitch. I've just grown to like that about you." I say smiling and Rebekah laughs.

"Well, that's sweet of you to say. Remember it when I'm gone." Rebekah said and I look up at her. "Gone? Where are you going?" I ask "I only came to town to make sure everything was okay with Elijah. He's fine, and he hasn't punished Klaus for daggering him, so, as usual, they'll be thick as thieves, and I'll be left to clean up the mess. It's time for me to fly the coop." Rebekah said "Oh." I say and I go to take a bite out of the apple but I fed woozy. "What's wrong?" Rebekah asked "I dunno. Probably morning sickness." I say and Rebekah puts her hand on my forehead. "Oh, you're burning up, actually." Rebekah said moving her hand to my cheek.

I'm laying in bed as Rebekah drys swear from my forehead and my chest. "Stop fussing, will you? Elijah will be here any minute." Rebekah said "I feel like I've been microwaved." I say "Hey, just because you're carrying a baby, doesn't mean you get to act like one. I'm sure my little niece is healing you up as we speak." Rebekah said and I see Elijah rush in with Sophie. Rebekah stands up to greet them.
"What the hell is she doing here?" Rebekah asked at the same time I asked "Why the fuck is she here?" "I'm trying to help." Sophie said "Help? You're the reason we're in this bloody mess. Why aren't we unlinked with this witch already, Elijah?" Rebekah asked "Rebekah, let her do what she can." Elijah said "I may know a way to slow the fever down, but, I'm gonna need some special herbs. I'll text you a list." Sophie said "Fine. Happy to play the fetch girl." Rebekah said as she walks out the room she shoves the towel into Elijah's chest.

Elijah was wiping the sweat from my forehead. Sophie walks over bringing a bowl to us. "Where's Klaus?" I ask "He's off somewhere being Klaus. That said he's working to solve this in his own way too." Elijah said "No wonder you're a man of honor. We can't lie we're the damn." I say "Believe me when I say that you have a gift no woman in a thousand years could ever have offered him. He cares." Elijah said "My temperature is through the roof too. I can't slow this fever." Sophie said and I feel a sudden pain. "Ah. Okay. That definitely hurts." I say groaning in pain. "We need to do something else before this fever kills the baby. Elijah I need your help." Sophie said

I'm sitting beside the pool wrapped up in a towel. Rebekah keeps checking my temperature. "She's burning up. We need to do this now." Elijah said "Get her in the water." Sophie said and Elijah jumps into the pool in front of me. I unwrap the towel around me wrapping my arms around Elijahs neck as he helps me into the water. "I don't see how a midnight swim is supposed to help." Rebekah said "Her temperature is sky-high, and the water, with the help of the herbs, should cool us down." She gets into the pool handing me a cup. "Drink this!" I drink it as she talks to Elijah. "You're going to have to get her heart rate down." Sophie said "How do you suggest I do that?" Elijah asked "Hold her. It's a natural human remedy to slow the heart rate and reduce blood pressure." Sophie said

"This is never gonna work." Rebekah said and Elijah is holding me bridal style in the pool. "Davina will break that link. We just need time." Elijah said and I'm clinging to him as I'm gasping for breath. I start hyperventilating. "I can't breathe." I say "Okay. Take long, deep breaths. Hayley, look at me." I look at him. "Long, deep breaths. Just focus on the sound of my voice. You'll be okay. You'll be okay." Elijah whispers.

I'm leaning back before I feel this sharp pain making me try to ball up. "Aah! Aah! Aah!" I scream in pain. "I just felt it lift." Sophie said and I feel myself start calming down. I look at Elijah before standing up on my own but still holding onto Elijah. I look up at him. Elijah looks at my hand and I don't see a mark. I look from my hand to up at him and he looks at me.

"Come on, let's go." Elijah said as he helps me to the edge of the pool and I'm holding on to the edge. "Elijah...as soon as your brother finds out that the link is broken, he'll kill Agnes. I know you don't owe me anything, but please, don't let him kill her." Elijah uses vampire speed to speed out of the pool. "Elijah, she's our only access to the power we need to survive. Promise me that you'll stop him." Sophie said "It's me. Where are you? Don't hurt her. I'll be there shortly." Elijah hands up the phone. "I'll make you one last promise. I won't let my brother kill Agnes." Elijah said and I can't help but feel that there is another meaning to that. Sophie walks to the edge of the pool and I quickly stand up grabbing her arm. "I know you were just using me to save your people, but try it again, I'll kill you." I say looking at her. I get out of the pool.

I walk downstairs when I hear knocking on the door. I open the door to see Josh. "Where is he? I've been trying to find him all day. Marcel knows that Klaus lied to him about where he lives." Josh said "I'm not his damn keeper, Josh." I say "Fine. Just...tell him to call me, please." Josh said "Okay." I say and I shut the door. I walk back over to the door when someone knocks. "Oh, what the hell, Josh?" I ask and I open the door and I see Marcel standing on the other side of the door. Marcel smiles. "Hi there. I'm Marcel. I don't think we've met." Marcel said and I just look at him.
