Chapter 8

Benny's pov

'Y/N!' I got up and gave her a big hug I let go and then gave her a passionate kiss on the lips. Our lips were moving in sync until we broke apart because dally walked in. He gave me a death glare then went up to y/n. 'Can you give us some privacy kid' 'uh yeah ill be out here'. I went out and told the boys that y/n woke up. I sat on a chair and patiently waited to go back in.

Dallys pov

'How you doing kiddo' 'Im ok I just want to get the hell out of here' she said and that made me chuckle. 'I asked a doctor and you have to stay 2 more days so they make sure your ok' 'So I can get back to playing ball in 2 days'. 'No y/n you have to recover for at least a week or 2' I said. 'Ugh this is some bullshit' she rolled her eyes and I laughed.

'So that Benny kid you really like him huh' 'yeah I have for like 4 years now' she said. 'Jeez why you wait so long to tell him' 'I didn't know if he felt the same'. 'Just to let you know,that kid looked miserable when you were in the coma. He never left you and he looked like a walking zombie'. 'Really? And how did you hold up mister' 'eh it was lame without you and I just went to the bar everyday' I said. 'Imma let the kid come in so yall can talk' 'ok thanks dally love you' 'Love you too kid' I said and walked out.

Benny's pov

Dallas came out and he let me go in. 'Hey babe how you holdin up' 'im ok I just want to leave this place already' I laughed a little and went to go sit with her. 'I missed you so much it was miserable and boring without you' I said. And it was true nothing was the same without her. 'Im sure it wasn't that bad' 'oh trust me it was' I said. 'I heard you didn't go to the sandlot for a while' 'oh yeah I didn't go for like a week because everything was boring to me' 'aw Benny baseball is your life it can't be boring' 'its not that its boring it just was boring cuz you weren't there'

'well now I'm awake and fine so ill be playing soon. Dally said I have to rest for like a week but I don't need to I feel fine' she said. 'No y/n you have to recover fully if not you'll get hurt again and won't play ball for an even longer time' 'I guess your right' she said and then she got my hand to interwind our fingers. I smiled at her and then we talked for another while before the guys came in.

Y/n's pov

The guys,Benny and dally came to visit and it was nice seeing then again. I wonder what actually happened while I was gone. Did anything change? I really hope not because everything before was perfect. It was already late but Benny and dally insisted to stay. Dally slept on the couch and I made a little space for Benny to lay with me. We all soon drifted off to sleep.

☆TIME SKIP☆

I finally was let out the hospital after 3 days. They told me no baseball for a week and I guess that was better than 2 weeks or more. My parents were taking me home and we finally arrived at the house. Dally helped me up the stairs to my room and helped me into bed. My mom brought me some lunch to my room and it was 100 times better than the nasty ass hospital food.

There was a knock at my door and I let them in. It was Benny. 'Hey babe' I said happily. 'Hey mi amor how you feeling' 'a lot better thank you' he climbed into my bed with me and gave a nice kiss. I don't know what was with this kiss but it felt different like for passionate and deep. He swiped his tongue on my bottom lip asking for an entrance, which I gladly accepted. His tongue explored every inch of my mouth and then our togues were fighting for dominance. We finally pulled away each breathing heavily. We layed on my bed cuddled up.

'You wanna watch a movie' I asked. 'Yeah what do you wanna watch' 'the rookie of the year' (idk if yall know that movie but its really good)I said happily. 'Y/n you only watch it because of Henry and you know it' Benny said crossing his arms. I chuckled a little 'and what if your right huh, you gonna get jelly Benny' I said while cocking an eyebrow. He laughed and then put the movie into the DVD player. We snuggled next to eachother and watched the movie together. When it was over it was already late. 'Benny' 'yes babe' 'can you spend the night' I said. 'Of course I'm sure my mom will know'. Benny spooned me and I soon was drifting off to sleep. I guess Benny thought I was already asleep because I heard him say something that made my heart skip a beat. 'I love you y/n I know we are young but I really do love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you' and then he gave me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled and then went to sleep.
